Vivo Z1 Pro gets another price cut in India, now available starting at Rs. 12990

Vivo launched the Z1 Pro smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, 32MP in-display front camera earlier this year in India. Last month, the Z1 Pro got up to Rs. 2000 permanent price cut and now, Vivo Z1 Pro has got another price cut in India. Vivo Z1 Pro 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant is now available at Rs. 12,990, against its previous price of Rs. 13,990. The 6GB RAM with 64GB variant is now available at Rs. 13,990, against its previous price of Rs. 14,990. Samsung Galaxy M11 (SM-M115F) and Galaxy M31 (SM-M315F) said to be in works

Samsung launched the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M30 smartphones earlier this year in India under M-series. The company released the next version, Galaxy M30s recently in India, but there was no information on the successor to the Galaxy M10 until now. Now, according to a new report, Samsung is said to be working on the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31 smartphones which are expected to be launched next year. Samsung Galaxy M11 is said to carry the model number SM-M115F and the Galaxy M31 is said to carry the model number SM-M315F. There is no information on the design, key specifications of the smartphones yet, but according to the report, Galaxy M11 is said to come with 32GB internal storage and Galaxy M31 with 64GB internal storage. According to the previous report, Samsung is also said to working on the Galaxy M21 and Galaxy M41 smartphones. Samsung Galaxy M21 which is the successor to Galaxy M20 is said to be powered by Exynos 9609 processor, feature 4GB RAM, and sport dual rear camera setup with a combination of 24MP primary sensor and 5MP depth sensor. Moto G8 Power with 5000mAh battery, Android 10 gets certified by the FCC

Motorola launched the Moto G8 Plus smartphone in India back in October. At that time there were rumors about the company working on the batter-focused Moto G8 Power smartphone with Android 10 and similar Snapdragon 665 SoC as the G8 Plus. Now a new Motorola smartphone with the model number XT2041-1 has been certified by the FCC. The FCC certification reveals 5000mAh battery, 165mm front dimension and 75.8mm width, so it could feature  a similar 6.3-inch display. It also reveals 5V/9V/12V charging adapter, confirming 15W Turbo charger (5V-3A|9V-1.6A|12V-1.2A). We still don't have any other specifications of the smartphone yet, but we can expect similar triple rear camera setup, plastic back, splash resistant body and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. macOS Catalina 10.15.2 update brings new features to Apple News, Stocks, bug fixes and more

Apple has released a new update to macOS Catalina, bringing the version to 10.15.2. The updates adds a few features to Apple News and Stocks along with bug fixes for Apple Music, iTunes Remote, Photos, Mail, Etc. along with general stability, reliability and performance improvements. Android Messages gets Verified SMS in India, real time Spam Protection rolling out in the US

Google is rolling out a new feature called Verified SMS that ensures users can confirm the true identity of the business that’s texting them. This feature will better protect users from possible phishing scams received via SMS. Along with this Google is also rolling out better Spam protection for Messages. Messages will verify on a per-message basis that the SMS you have received is content sent by a specific business. Once verified the business name and logo as well as a verification badge will be visible in the message thread. Google promises that this verification is done on device without sending any information to its servers. In India, Google Pay and verification messages from Google are enrolled in this program with more businesses joining every day. 1-800-Flowers, Banco Bradesco, Kayak, Payback, and SoFi are among the first brands in the US to send messages with Verified SMS. In addition to this, Google is also updating its spam protection to work in real time. Users will be notified of suspected spam messages and will be given the option to report it as spam and block the conversation. Samsung says it has sold 1 million Galaxy Fold smartphones

When Samsung released the Galaxy Fold in April, there were lots of problem with the durability of the device, causing Samsung to re-release the phone with fixes. The phone still proved to be fragile but that apparently has not stopped consumers from buying a million of $2000 Galaxy Folds. At TechCrunch Disrupt in Berlin, Young Sohn, Samsung Electronic’s President has revealed that the company had sold 1 million or 10 lakh foldable Galaxy Fold smartphones till now. A million Galaxy Fold devices have been sold with the price tag of $2000 to consumers. When the phone was initially released, it was quickly discovered that the devices was incredibly fragile with many reviewer samples breaking within two days. Samsung recalled all the phones and re-released with better durability and protection in September. It was even launched in India in October at a price of Rs. 1,64,999. Young Sohn stated it was part of Samsungs strategy of releasing products to get feedback. With all its feedback from Galaxy Fold and its high sales numbers, Samsung is going to be comfortable repeating this strategy in the future.
