LG Gram 17 2020 with 10th Gen Intel Core processors, bigger battery announced

LG electronics first introduced the 17 inch variant of the LG Gram last year with the success of the product leading to almost 25% of LG Gram sales in 2019. Now, for 2020, LG is updating their Gram 17 with the latest 10th Intel processors and a bigger battery, among other changes. The laptop is said to come with a 17 inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, with a vertical length that's 3mm less than last year. The laptop will have increased battery size at 80WH compared to the 72Watt hour and will weigh total of 1.35 Kilos. The laptop will have extra slots to upgrade the RAM and storage and the keyboard numpad now comes with 4 columns compared to the 3 columns on the 2019 model. LG has also built the laptop to be durable with MIL-STD rating for impact, dust, high temperature, low temperature, vibration, salt and low pressure resistance. Microsoft’s Project Lockhart could be cheaper, disc-less Next-Gen Xbox alternative to Scarlett

When project Scarlett was announced back in June, it was reported that there would two variants in the earlier leaks: the high-performance Anaconda and the lower-end Lockhart. A new report from Kotaku has confirmed that the cheaper, digital-only alternative to Scarlett called Lockhart is still in development. When Microsoft announced Project Scarlett as the only high end console, it was assumed that Project Lockhart was cancelled. But Kotaku.com has reported that the project development is still underway although with no information on pricing of the console. Developers who have been briefed on Lockhart claim that the performance in the Lockhart console will be similar to the PS4 Pro in terms of RAW graphical power. Microsoft has put forward an ideal target of 1440p for resolution and at 60 fps for Lockhart. It is still unclear as to which console, the PS5 or Project Scarlett will be more powerful as development kits for both are just reaching the hands of developers. Android Focus mode tool in Digital Wellbeing rolling out globally for Android Pie and Android 10

Google introduced Digital wellbeing along with Android 9 as a bunch of tools to help users unplug from their smartphones and have more fulfilling lives.
