Vivo U3 with Snapdragon 675 SoC, AI triple rear cameras teased ahead of official announcement on October 21

Vivo launched the U10 smartphone last month in India and it was launched as Vivo U3x in China sometime later. After the launch of Vivo U3x, the company has now officially teased the announcement of Vivo U3 with AI triple rear cameras, Snapdragon 675 SoC, and more. The teaser image posted by Vivo China reveals that the U3x will sport a Halo FullView display, will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and will likely sport 4GB/6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The image also shows the rear of the phone with AI triple rear cameras and physical fingerprint scanner. In related news, a Vivo phone with model number V1914A/T surfaced on TENAA a while back with key specifications like 6.53-inch FULL HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, and 16MP (primary) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP(depth sensor) and 16MP front camera. Going by the TENAA certification and the official teaser, Vivo U3x must be the V1914A/T model. Vivo Y11 (2019) with 6.35-inch Halo FullView display, AI dual rear cameras, 5000mAh battery announced

Vivo has just announced its latest smartphone in Vietnam - Vivo Y11 (2019) and has identical design language to Vivo Y12 that was launched earlier this year in India. It comes with dual rear cameras, a large 5000mAh battery, Android 9 (Pie), and more. Vivo Y11 sports a 6.35-inch HD+ Halo FullView LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1544 pixels, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor paired with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. It has a glass-like dual-tone design with a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner. The Y11 (2019) runs on Android 9 (Pie) on top of Funtouch OS 9.1. Regarding the optics, the Y11 (2019) sports a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13MP (primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture) + 2MP(secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture) and the front camera is an 8MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Dyson opens its fourth Dyson Demo Store in India at VR Chennai

Dyson today opened its first Dyson Demo Store in Chennai, located at VR Chennai in Anna Nagar, making this is its fourth Demo store after two stores in New Delhi, and one in Bengaluru. The company entered India in February last year. The retail space has been designed as an interactive space to encourage visitors to pick-up, test and experience Dyson’s technology, said the company. OnePlus 8 Pro with punch hole display, quad rear cameras surfaces in renders

It's been just over a few weeks since the launch of OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro and now the renders of the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro has started to surface online. OnePlus 8 Pro renders come after the renders of OnePlus 8 that surfaced recently. According to the render by @OnLeaks, OnePlus 8 Pro is said to sport a 6.65-inch Quad HD+ 90Hz display with curved edges and a similar design language as OnePlus 8. This time around OnePlus is said to go with a punch-hole display instead of the pop-up camera module and also, the display is said to be slightly smaller than its predecessor OnePlus 7T Pro. While the processor that is going to power OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is not known yet, we can expect it to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. TikTok launches #EduTok educational learning program in India

TikTok, a popular app for the sharing of short-form video content has announced the launch of a #Edutok Program which is designed to be a multi-phased integrated initiative aligned with the wider objective of making it easier for users access learning content through the platform. TikTok claims that since its launch, over 10 million pieces of content were created and shared using the #EduTok hashtag, which has generated over 48 billion views and has been shared over 1.8 billion times on TikTok. Through this initiative, TitTok has formed partnerships with leading social enterprises, Josh Talks and The/Nudge Foundation to launch a mentorship program. The goal being giving first time users access to high-quality educational content created by TikTok creators and educational organizations. Along with the mentorship program, TikTok has also partnered with top educational technology companies such as Toppr, Made Easy and GradeUp to provide subject focused content on the platform. This collaboration will give the users access to a variety of educational content available on the platform, in various formats, across categories and languages. Motorola schedules an event on November 13th, Razr foldable phone expected

Motorola has sent out invites for a event to be held on on Nov. 13, where it is expected to launch the Razr  phone, a foldable version of the classic Razr phone. According to the invite, Motorola has said that it will release "highly anticipated unveiling of a reinvented icon" in an event in downtown Los Angeles. "You're going to flip," Motorola's invite says. Motorola had confirmed that they were working on a foldable device earlier this year. It was later revealed that this device would be a re-design of the famous Razr flip phone, coming with a foldable screen. The GIF released by Motorola for the event shows the hinge from the old design melting away to tease the possible new one. According to earlier report, the phone is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor; come in white, black and gold; and have a 2,730mAh battery, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GM or 128GB of storage, with a price tag of about  $1,500. Samsung will fix Galaxy S10’s fingerprint sensor security flaw with update

Earlier this week, a woman in Britain discovered that her Samsung Galaxy S10's ultrasonic fingerprint sensor had a security flaw and could basically be opened by anyone once she fit £2.70 (Approx Rs. 250) screen protector she got on eBay onto the phone. Samsung, on Thursday, acknowledged the security flaw and announced it will soon roll out a software patch to fix problems with fingerprint recognition. The woman had purchased the phone cover on Ebay and found out she could use her left thumb to unlock her phone when only her right thumb was registered. Furthermore, even her husband could unlock the phone with his thumb and this flaw could be replicated on her sisters galaxy S10 too. After contacting Samsung customer services, it was discovered that this was a security flaw in the phone and that if misused, anyone would be able to access users sensitive information like those stored on financial apps. A Samsung spokeswoman said they are investigating internally and reiterated it is recommended that users only purchase and use Samsung authorized accessories, specifically designed for Samsung products. This looks almost similar to the One Macro, but with an ultra-wide sensor instead of macro sensor and no Laser auto focus. Ola Drive self-drive car-sharing service launched, plans to host 20,000 cars by 2020

Ola has launched ‘Ola Drive’, a self-drive car-sharing service to take on Mahindra-backed ZoomCar, Revv and others. The service is already live in Bengaluru with Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi to follow shortly. Ola said that it intends to host a fleet of 20,000 cars by 2020, 50% more than the fleet size of the entire industry put together. On the app, you can choose the Drive option on the top, click plan your drive, confirm start and end time (from 2 hours to 60 days), select the number of kilometers even fuel inclusion, in addition to the free kilometer with fuel mentioned. This allows for savings of upto 30% over other providers, says the company.
