HONOR Vision 55-inch 4K HDR Smart TV with pop-up camera announced in India, coming in Q1 2020

HONOR India has announced their entry into the smart TV market with the unveiling of the HONOR Vision Smart Screen at India Mobile Congress today. The TV will feature the  “Honghu 818” intelligent display chipset by HiSilicon along with AI Camera NPU Chipset, a flagship level WiFi Chipset and will be the first TV to run on Huawei's new Harmony OS. The HONOR Vision will come equipped with a 55-inch 4k HDR display, 6.9mm thickness, 94% screen to body ratio and a 178 degrees wide viewing angle panel. The Vision will feature 6' 10 Watt speakers to provide a immersive sound experience. The TV also supports multi-device connection and allows users to make video calls using the built-in AI pop-up camera. The "Honghu 818" Display Chipset by HiSilicon provides powerful computing, decoding, image processing and sound effects optimization capabilities. The chipset will contains many image processing technologies such as Motion Estimate and Motion Compensation (MEMC), High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDR), Super-Resolution (SR), Noise Reduction (NR), Dynamic Contrast Improvement (DCI), Auto Color Management (ACM) and Local Dimming (LD) to provide the best viewing experience for the user. Toreto Torpods truly wireless Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds launched

Toreto, a popular Indian audio manufacturer has launched its latest product, the Toreto Torpods. It is a pair of truly wireless earbuds that Toreto claims will have a better fit, better sound quality and longer battery life. The earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0 Technology with Toreto's Auto Pairing Connectivity feature.  The earbuds have a snug stay-in design that the company promises will give all-day comfort for the user. The earbuds come with a magnetic charging case that will automatically charge the earbuds once its placed in. The 43 mAh battery on the earbuds will allow music playback for up to 4 hours with the 800mAh battery in the case providing another 3 full charges to bring the total listening time to 15 hours. The earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0 and has separate microphones to allow the user to take calls. The Toreto Torpods is available in black colour only at a price tag of Rs. 4,499 (MRP) with one year warranty from the manufacturer. Redmi K30 will feature dual front in-screen cameras, SA/NSA dual mode 5G support

Xiaomi's Redmi brand already confirmed 5G support for the Redmi K30. Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing, today at the Redmi 8 and 8A launch in China confirmed that the K30 will be feature dual punch-hole front cameras. We had already seen a similar setup in Samsung Galaxy S10+ smartphone earlier this year. This will also be the first Redmi phone to support a punch-hole display. This will also come with support for 5G stand alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. Last month Qualcomm announced expansion of 5G support for older 7 Series and 6 Series in 2020, so the K30 could use Snapdragon 7 series 5G Mobile Platform with support for both SA and NSA dual mode 5G. We still don't have any other specifications of the phone, but we can expect in-display fingerprint scanner, improved cameras and possibly a bigger battery since it has 5G support. Source 1, 2

Qualcomm adds support for ISRO’s NavIC Satellite Navigation System in upcoming Mobile, Automotive and IoT Platforms

Qualcomm Technologies today announced that it has partnered with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to support India’s Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS), Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC), in select chipset platforms across the company’s upcoming portfolio. This will help accelerate the adoption of NavIC and enhance the geolocation capabilities of mobile, automotive and the Internet of Things (IoT) solutions in the region — with the backing of engineering talent in India. The solution is built on Qualcomm Technologies' leading foundational inventions in location-based position technology. As part of the updated platforms, the Qualcomm Location Suite now supports up to seven satellite constellations concurrently, including the use of all of NavIC’s operating satellites for more accurate location performance, faster time-to-first-fix (TTFF) position acquisition, and improved robustness of location-based services. HONOR 20 Youth Edition with 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display, 48MP triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner to be announced on October 15

HUAWEI's HONOR brand today confirmed that it will introduce a new HONOR 20 series smartphone in China tomorrow, October 15th. The invite confirms waterdrop notch display and an in-display fingerprint scanner compared to punch-hole display and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in the HONOR 20. This was certified by TENAA by model number LRA-AL00, and should be released as HONOR 20 Youth Edition / HONOR 20 Lite (not to be confused with HONOR 20 Lite that was introduced in Malaysia back in May). Update: October 13, 2019 - Apple iPad 7th Gen is now available for purchase from Flipkart and Amazon.in starting at Rs. 29900 for 32GB WiFi version and Rs. 37,900 for the 128GB WiFi model, while the 32GB and 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular models are priced at Rs. 40,900 and Rs. 48,900, respectively. Earlier: Apple introduced the new iPad 7th Gen (2019) model with 10.2-inch Retina display earlier this month alongside the new iPhones and Watch Series 5. It was available for order in the US and more than 25 other countries on the day of announcement itself, while it will be available in stores in those countries and more beginning September 30.
