Samsung has introduced ISOCELL Slim GH1, first mobile image sensor to adopt the smallest pixel size in the industry at 0.7μm. The 43.7-megapixel (Mp) Samsung ISOCELL Slim GH1 uses advanced ISOELL Plus technology and comes with 0.7μm-sized pixels in a super-small package targeted at sleeker full-display devices. Highlights of Samsung ISOCELL Slim GH1 sensor ISOCELL Plus minimizes color cross-talk and optical loss, the tiny 0.7μm pixels are able to absorb sufficient light information to produce bright and vivid photographs. In low-light environments, the GH1 makes use of pixel-merging Tetracell technology that enables higher light sensitivity equivalent to that of a 1.4μm-pixel image sensor. For video recording at 4K (3,840×2,160) resolutions with a high resolution of 7,968×5,480, is able to take 4K videos with minimum loss in field of view (FoV), while most high-resolution image sensors crop or scale down full image resolutions that result in a reduced FoV. In addition to Mi 9 Pro 5G, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi MIX Alpha concept smartphone with an innovative Surround Screen with a screen-to-body ratio of more than 180.6%. Xiaomi just announced the Mi 9 Pro 5G, the company’s latest flagship smartphone as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and 90.7% screen to body ratio since it has 3.6mm small chin, same as the Mi 9, but this is is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Mobile Platform with Snapdragon X50 5G modem and support for 7-antenna 5G bands for improved signal reception. This also enables support for 8K video playback, thanks to 9th generation image processing engine. Google Play Pass premium apps and gaming subscription service announced

Google was working on a gaming service called Play Pass and the confirmed recently confirmed that it will launch the service now. After teasers, now, Google has officially announced 'Google Play Pass' that allows users to enjoy apps and games without ads or in-app purchases. Play Pass is a new subscription service from Google that gives users access to more than 350 apps and games that are completely unlocked. These don't contain ads, in-app purchases and upfront payments, in a bid to offer a great experience to users. Family managers can also share their Play Pass subscription with up to five other family members and each family member can access Play Pass individually, so the experience won’t be affected by what others download. It will contain apps and games like Terraria, Monument Valley, Risk, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and AccuWeather, LIMBO, Lichtspeer, Mini Metro, Old Man’s Journey and many more.
