Flipkart Ideas launched to help improve shopping experience with videos, GIFs, stories and more

Along with rolling out new Video section, Flipkart has officially launched new Ideas feature that will feature content from brands and influencers in formats like videos, GIFs, images, stories, quizzes and polls. The content will span 14 key interest areas, which include Fashion, health and fitness, gadgets, food and nutrition, home and living and more.  You will be asked to select five interests that will help Flipkart curate ideas for you. Under this, the company will be posting a curated selection of content, which will help improve its consumers shopping experience. With the new feature, it is aiming to help consumers discover new products and brands, and said that it will play crucial role in bringing the next 200 million consumers online and help them in narrowing down specific products suitable for their needs. Flipkart Ideas will provide consumers with a seamless commerce experience and will enable consumers to know more about products and brands thus ensuring a better brand recall, says the company. HUAWEI AMN-AL10 with 5.71-inch waterdrop notch display, Android Pie gets certified

A new entry-level smartphone from HUAWEI with the model number AMN-AL10 has been certified by TENAA in China. This reveals a 5.71-inch HD+ waterdrop notch screen, 2GHz Octa-Core processor with up to 3GB RAM, Android Pie, 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera, as well as 3000mAh battery. Except the Octa-Core SoC, other specifications are similar to the HUAWEI Y5 2019 that was introduced earlier this year. This could be a HUAWEI Enjoy series phone cheaper than the HUAWEI Enjoy 9e that was introduced  earlier this year. Redmi M1908C3IC with 6.2-inch display, 5000mAh battery gets certified, could be Redmi 8

Xiaomi's Redmi brand introduced new Redmi 7 and Redmi 7A phones earlier this year, now a new Redmi smartphone with model number M1908C3IC has been certified by TENAA in China and the render of the phone has also surfaced. The image shows a Dot Notch, dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner similar to the Redmi 7, but the design and the position of cameras are different. There is a Redmi branding on the front, below the screen, and on the back below the fingerprint scanner and there is also a 'Designed by Xiaomi' branding. TENAA also reveals a 6.2-inch screen, 156.3×75.4×9.4mm dimensions, revealing that it will be slightly smaller, but thicker than the Redmi 7 due to 5000mAh battery, compared to 4000mAh in the predecessor. 3C certification recently confirmed 10W charging support, so this will not likely be the Redmi Note 8 phone, which will likely come with 18W fast charging and quad rear cameras with a 64MP main camera. Motorola One Action with 6.3-inch FHD+ 21:9 display, triple rear cameras announced

Motorola just announced One Action, the company’s latest Android One smartphone, after several rumors. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 21:9 aspect ratio CinemaVision LCD screen, is powered by new Exynos 9609 processor and runs Android Pie, similar to the One Vision, but this has a  12-megapixel in-screen camera. Samsung Galaxy M21, Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M41 key specifications surface

Samsung launched the Galaxy M10, M20, M30, and M40 smartphones under the 'M' series in India earlier this year. Now, key specifications of its successor, Galaxy M21, Galaxy M31, and Galaxy M41 have been leaked and are expected to be unveiled in 2020. According to a report, Samsung Galaxy M21 which is the successor to Galaxy M20 is said to be powered by Exynos 9609 processor, feature 4GB RAM, and sport dual rear camera setup with a combination of 24MP primary sensor and 5MP depth sensor. Google’s Socratic AI app helps students in various subjects

Last year, Google acquired Socratic, a mobile learning app that uses AI technology to help high school and university students. As per the company claims, it guides them through the resources that are available and identifies the core underlying concepts that will lead them to answers to their questions. In an attempt to make it easier and helpful, the search engine giant Google has made some improvements to it. With the latest update, students can take a photo of a question or use their voice to ask a question, and it will find the most relevant resources from across the web. When it comes to solving complex problems, the company has built and trained algorithms that look at a student’s question and automatically identify the relevant underlying concepts. Moreover, there are options that enable to break down the concepts into smaller, easy-to-understand lessons. Interestingly, students can now review what they've learned through subject guides on over 1,000 higher education and high school topics. Motorola launched its One Vision smartphone in India back in June on Flipkart. Today the company has announced that the phone is available through offline retailers across India starting today, August 16th. To remind you the phone packs a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 21:9 aspect ratio CinemaVision LCD screen with a 25-megapixel in-screen camera with 1.8µm Quad Pixel technology for sharper selfies in low-light, is powered by new Exynos 9609 processor, runs Android Pie with 2 guaranteed OS upgrades,  48-megapixel rear camera with new Night Vision mode, OIS and also has Quad Pixel technology that combines four pixels into one large 1.6µm pixel for an incredibly sharp 12 MP photos with improved brightness and reduced image noise. OPPO Reno2 with quad rear cameras, 20X Zoom launching in India on August 28

OPPO just announced that it will launch Reno 2 series in India on August 28th first in India. This is the successor of  Reno 10x loss less zoom that was launched back in May featuring 10x hybrid zoom and triple rear cameras. The successor will feature 20x hybrid zoom and quad rear cameras that are arranged vertically. The image also confirms Shark fin rising camera on the top, similar to the predecessor. This will likely feature AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
