Telegram v5.10 update brings Silent Messages, Slow Mode for Groups, Admin Titles and more

Telegram has been introducing new features to its platform recently like ultra-lightweight high-quality animated stickers, complete control over users private conversation and more. Now, with the v5.10 update, Telegram is introducing Silent Messages, Slow Mode, Admin Titles feature and more. Silent Messages Telegram is bringing Silent Messages feature where users can simply hold the Send button and choose to deliver the message or media without sound and the receiver will get a notification as usual, but their phone won't make a sound even if they forgot to enable the Do Not Disturb mode. Slow Mode Secondly, with the new Slow Mode, users will only be able to send one message per the interval that the admin chose and there is a timer that will show how long the user has to wait before sending their next message. This can be found under the 'Group Permissions' section and will be useful for group admins when the group they manage is getting hard to follow. OnePlus users get a chance to watch Sacred Games Season 2 screening on August 14

Back in May, OnePlus in partnership with Netflix released two posters and behind-the-scenes video from their much-awaited original series Sacred Games Season 2 shot on OnePlus 7 Pro. Google Search now adds ability to find and listen to podcast episodes

Google launched the Podcasts application with AI-powered personalized recommendations for Android last year. Now, alongside displaying different forms of information, Google Search will also display podcasts and will allow users to find and listen to their favorite podcast episodes. Google will show the podcast episodes based on what is being talked about on a podcast and users wouldn't be having the need to use the term "podcast" every time they search as the company will soon make podcast discovery simpler across Search. Also, users will be able to search for podcasts listen right there on their computer or phone and their listening progress is synced everywhere. Podcasts will also be coming to Google Assistant and Google Podcasts for web later this year and users can ask the Assistant for podcasts about a certain topic and it will suggest relevant episodes. Google will soon add the ability for publishers to specify where users can listen to their podcasts, such as other apps or websites. Xiaomi Mi 9S 5G smartphone with 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 Plus, up to 12GB RAM gets certified

Xiaomi introduced the Mi 9 flagship smartphone back in February this year. Now the 5G version of the with the model number M1908F1XE has been certified by TENAA in China. This has the same 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLD screen, but this is said will be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus combined with Qualcomm's X50 modem for 5G connectivity and pack up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It will come with a larger 4000mAh battery, and 3C certification confirmed 45W fast charging compared to 27W fast charging in the predecessor. It is expected to feature a similar triple rear camera setup and a 20-megapixel front camera, but this could come with OIS for the primary rear camera. Since it has a bigger battery, the phone is slightly thicker and heavier than the predecessor. The phone has a red colored ring around the first camera and a red colored powered button. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 smartphones in India last yera running MIUI 9.5 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) update, and the stable MIUI 10 OTA update for the phones rolled out soon after the launch. In February, the company started recruiting beta testers for testing Android Pie based MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM for various devices but didn't announce update plans for Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, later, the company announced that both the smartphones will receive Android Pie based MIUI Global Stable ROM. Motorola schedules an event in India on August 23, Motorola One Action expected

Recently, there were reports on the upcoming Motorola One Zoom and Motorola One Action smartphones. On similar lines, Motorola has scheduled an event in India on August 23 where the company is expected to launch 'Motorola One Action' smartphone and the key details of the smartphone are already revealed, thanks to a leaked Amazon.de listing. The official invite from Motorola doesn't mention the name of the smartphone but reads as "With relentless innovation at heart, Motorola is ready to introduce a bold new device created to inspire excellence on August 23rd, 2019. Get ready to #CaptureTheAction.".  The hashtag #CaptureTheAction hints us that the company could launch the One Action smartphone. Motorola One Action is said to sport a 6.3-inch (2,520 x 1,080 pixels) 21:9 display, Exynos 9609 SoC, up to 4GB RAM variants, up to 128GB storage, 12.6MP in-screen front and 12.6MP primary rear cameras, 117-degree ultra-wide sensor, and probably a depth sensor, and a 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It is said to come in Blue, Gold and White colors and is said to cost 299 Euros (US$ 335 / Rs. 23,650 approx.) for 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version. We should know more details in the coming days.

HMD Global schedules IFA 2019 event on September 5, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 expected

HMD Global has sent out invites for its IFA 2019 event on September 5th to introduce new Nokia phones. The invite doesn't reveal any details of what to expect, but based on earlier rumors, we can expect the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 Android One smartphones codenmaed Daredevil and Star-Lord, respectively, at the event. Based on earlier leaks, the Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 are expected to pack 6.1-inch FHD+ display, pack 48-megapixel primary rear camera along with an 120-degree ultra-wide lens and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Nokia 6.2 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 660 and the 7.2 could be powered by Snapdragon 710. The company is also expected to introduce Nokia 110 (2019) and 2720 (2019) feature phone at the event. There were rumors about the Nokia 9.1 PureView with 5G support, improved low-light and video performance, but this is said to launch only in Q4, which is after October. The HMD Global IFA 2019 on September 5th starts at 4PM CEST (7:30PM IST). We should know more details in the coming weeks. Source
