OPPO shows off bezel-less smartphone with ‘Waterfall Screen’ technology

Last month OPPO teased  its Under-Screen Camera technology for its smartphones,  and it was introduced officially few weeks back. Today the company has shared images of its upcoming bezel-less smartphone prototype, which it calls 'Waterfall Screen' technology. Recent rumors revealed NEX 3 with almost 90° curved sides will have over 100% screen-to-body ratio. The OPPO phone will have 88° curved sides, so the screen-to-body ratio should be high in this as well. The prototype doesn't have a front camera, but the final version will likely feature OPPO's Under-Screen Camera technology. Hope we can hear more details about this at the IFA in September since the company showcased its under-screen front camera tech at the MWC Shanghai event last month, soon after the teaser.   It is expected to launch as OPPO Find X second-generation sometime in 2020. (Long Term) Samsung Galaxy A70 Review – Maximum Media

If there's one thing I can never forget in my long term experience with the Samsung Galaxy A70, it is One UI. Gone are the days of Touchwiz and the annoying bleep-bloop sounds. Also gone are the days of Samsung's illogically priced mid-range phones. In 2019, a renewed focus on the Indian market has brought the world's no.1 smartphone maker back into attention, with them belting out smartphones at a pace faster than T20 matches. There are multiple M series smartphones and several A series smartphones, apart from the flagship S and Note series. In this review, we are going to take a look at the A series smartphone that is purpose built for "Maximum Media". The Samsung Galaxy A70, powered by a Snapdragon 675, is a great phone for media consumption and a generally great experience, especially in the long run. There are a lot of good things to talk about, like the great display, the almost full-screen design and of course, One UI, but of course, like every other phone, there are a few missteps as well. We shall discuss everything in detail, in this long term review of the Samsung Galaxy A70. Unboxing To be honest, I was quite ...

T-Mobile and Sprint merger approved by US Department of Justice

Back in 2017, T-Mobile and Sprint ceased discussions to merge into a single entity since they could not find mutually agreeable terms. But last year, both the companies agreed to merge in a deal valued at US$146 billion. In similar lines, now, the Department of Justice has approved T-Mobile and Sprint merger to create the new T-Mobile. T-Mobile and Sprint have taken an important step in towards completing their proposed merger and under this merger, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and Sprint prepaid business will need to be divested to Dish. The New T-Mobile will divest Sprint’s prepaid businesses and Sprint’s 800 MHz spectrum assets to DISH. Also, T-Mobile and Sprint have to make available at least 20,000 cell sites and hundreds of retail locations to DISH and must also provide DISH with robust access to the T-Mobile network for a period of seven years while DISH builds out its own 5G network. With this merger, Sprint customers will become T-Mobile customers and Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Sprint prepaid customers will soon become Dish Network customer. Commenting on this, John Legere, T-Mobile CEO and New T-Mobile CEO said: The T-Mobile and Sprint merger we announced last April will create a bigger and bolder competitor than ever before – one that will deliver the most transformative 5G network ...
