Vivo Z5 with 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor to be announced on July 31
After the Z5x announcement in May, Vivo is all set to introduce the Z5 smartphone in China on July 31st. Official images confirm waterdrop notch display, triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Recently a Vivo phone with the model number V1921A a similar design got certified by TENAA that reveals complete specifications of the phone. Redmi 64MP camera phone confirmed officially with first sample, camera UI
We already know Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone with a 64MP sensor. Today the company has posted the first camera sample from the smartphone, which shows the details it captures that is clear even when you zoom in. Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing has also posted a screenshot of the camera UI that shows the 64MP mode, similar to the 48MP option on its phones which support it. This will likely use Samsung's 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor that uses Pixel-merging Tetracell technology and the remosaic algorithm offers 16MP images in low-light environments where four pixels are merged to work as one to increase light sensitivity and highly-detailed 64Mp shots in brighter settings. It also supports real-time high dynamic range (HDR) of up to 100-decibels (dB) that provides richer hues. Redmi's rival Realme is also working on a 64MP camera phone. Last month Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth posted some samples from its 64MP camera phone and also compared it to Xiaomi's 48MP camera phone. Reliance Jio reports Rs. 891 crore profit in FY Q1 2019-20, JioGigaFiber trials in final stages
Reliance Jio has reported Rs. 11679 crore revenue, up 5.2 % QoQ and 44% YoY and a net profit of 891 crore, up 6.1% QoQ and 45.6% YoY for its eigth quarterly financial performance for the period that ended 30th June 2019. Jio reported Standalone earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 4,686 crore, up 8.2% QoQ, EBITDA margin of 40.1%, and Standalone earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of 3,029 crore, up 17.2% QoQ . Consolidated value of services stood at 13,762 crore, up 5.4% over trailing quarter. It has 331.3 million subscribers as of 30th June compared to 306.7 million at the end of March quarter with net addition of 24.5 million during the quarter and 116 million during the previous twelve months. Average revenue per user (ARPU) during the quarter — ₹122.0 per subscriber per month Total wireless data traffic — 1,090 crore GB Average voice traffic — 78,597 crore minutes per day and 821 minutes per user per month. ASUS ROG Phone II with 6.59-inch FHD+ OLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 855 Plus, 12GB RAM, 6000mAh battery gets certified
ASUS is all set to introduce the ROG Phone II, the company's second-generation gaming smartphone in China on July 23rd. It also confirmed 120Hz display and Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC for the smartphone. Now the phone has been certified by TENAA with the model numbers ASUS_I001DA and ASUS_I001DB confirming all the specifications of the phone including a 6.59-inch FHD+ OLED screen, up to 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, 48-megapixel rear camera and a 24-megapixel front camera. The image shows a secondary rear camera, but the camera details are not mentioned. According to the image, it will likely retain the dual front-facing speakers and the side-mounted connector. Since there is no fingerprint sensor on the back, it might feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will pack a whopping 6000mAh battery, compared to 4000mAh battery in the predecessor, so this weighs 240 grams, compared to 200 grams. It should retain the 30W charging and the glowing on the back. HUAWEI smartphone with model number SPN-AL00 has been certified by TENAA in China. This is expected to be launched has Nova 5i Pro later this month or early August.
