OPPO K3 with 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 710, up to 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint scanner launched in India starting at Rs. 16990
OPPO just launched OPPO K3, successor of OPPO K1 that was launched back in February. It packs a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with 91.1% screen-to-body ratio, DC dimming, next-gen in-display fingerprint scanner that is 28.5% faster with 10% success rate in unlocking, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with up to 8GB of RAM, GameBoost 2.0, runs Android Pie with Color OS 6.0 on top, features a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The phone has a 16-megapixel rising front camera that lifts in 0.74 seconds. The pop-up mechanism has been tested over 200,000 times, says the company. It has a 3D gradient back with S shaped curve, and packs a 3765mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging. ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched last year and the smartphone received a price cut earlier this year, bringing the starting price to Rs. 8499. Today, ASUS has officially announced another price cut on the Max Pro M1 and the new prices are applicable from today. ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 3+32GB is now available at a revised price of Rs. 7,999 and the 4+64GB is available at Rs. 8,999 and 6+64GB is available at Rs. 11,999. The new prices are applicable from today on Flipkart. Black Shark 2 Pro gaming phone to be announced on July 30, could be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus
Black Shark introduced its 'Black Shark 2' gaming smartphone with Snapdragon 855, Liquid Cooling 3.0 earlier this year and also launched it in India recently. The successor to the Black Shark 2 is now in the news as earlier today, the company revealed that the new Black Shark 2 Pro gaming phone will be announced on July 30, 2019. The official poster by Black Shark reveals the name of the smartphone i.e., Black Shark 2 Pro and confirms that it will be launched officially on July 30 in China. The company has also hinted that the Black Shark 2 Pro might be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC which comes with an overclocked CPU, 15% faster GPU and more. There is not much information regarding the other specifications of the Black Shark 2 Pro smartphone, and we should know more information in the coming days. HUAWEI to launch pop-up camera phone in India this month
HUAWEI is gearing up to launch a new pop-up camera phone in India later this month. This will be the company's first phone with pop-up front camera in the country. This could be the Y9 Prime 2019 that was introduced back in May, before it was introduced as P Smart Z in Europe. To remind you, the HUAWEI Y9 2019 packs a 6.59 inch FULL HD+ TFT LCD screen, is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 12nm processor and comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB/128GB internal storage options. With regards to the optics, the Y9 Prime 2019 sports a triple rear camera setup and dual front camera setup. The rear camera is a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor and, a third 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 16MP fixed focus pop-up camera. The phone is expected to be launched for less than Rs. 20,000. We should know the launch date in the coming days.

Samsung revamped its User Interface with the launch of its new One UI and it was incorporated in various Galaxy smartphone models launched in 2019 and later, Samsung also introduced One UI in its smartwatch lineup. Now, new reports suggest that Samsung will introduce One UI 2.0 with Android Q and the unannounced Galaxy S11 smartphone will get One UI 2.1 update.
