Realme to add Dark Mode to devices with future ColorOS update

Realme has gained popularity since its inception because of VFM offerings in the mid-range smartphone segment. Last month, company CEO, Madhav Sheth, in 6th episode of #AskMadhav confirmed that the company is working on Realme OS, and the company will have an official release once it is ready. Now, in another episode of #AskMadhav, the company CEO has revealed that the company is working on system-wide dark mode and it will be rolled out to Realme devices with an OTA update in future. As per the conversation on #AskMadhav, the company is planning to bring back the classic red design that we saw with the Realme 1 Diamond Red variant, and the company will share more details on this very soon, so we can expect to see a Realme phone in Red color soon. He also shared that the company is working to enable audio recording feature in screen recording app, and the new camera UI that we saw on Realme 3 Pro will also be made available on all the Realme smartphones, both the features will be rolled out in later OTAs. Airtel, Tata Teleservices consumer mobile business merger complete

After signing agreements back in 2017, Airtel and Teleservices today announced that customers, assets, spectrum and agreed liabilities of the Consumer Mobile Businesses of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited (TTML) have been merged with Airtel. This comes after Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal’s (TDSAT) order directing the DoT to take the merger on record and approval of the schemes of arrangement by National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Delhi and Mumbai, effective today i.e. 1st July 2019. As Airtel already announced, this will further bolster its strong spectrum foot-print with the addition of 178.5 MHz spectrum (of which 71.3 MHz is liberalised) in the 850, 1800 & 2100 MHz bands. This also provides Bharti Airtel with an indefeasible right to use (IRU) for part of the existing fibre network of Tata.

HUAWEI launched the MediaPad M5 Lite with 8-inch display and MediaPad M6 with 8.4-inch 2K display recently. Expanding its lineup, today, HUAWEI has launched its MediaPad T5 in India. HUAWEI MediaPad T5 comes in two storage variants, anti-fall design, dual speakers and more. HUAWEI MediaPad T5 sports a metal body, measures 243 x 164 x 7.6 mm, weighs 460g and flaunts a 10.1-inch FULL HD vivid display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It is powered by the Octa-core Kirin 659 Series Chipset and comes in 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage options and the storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.  It features dual speakers for an immersive sound along with 'HUAWEI histen' sound effect. LG Stylo 5 with 6.2-inch FHD+ display, stylus pen, Android Pie announced

LG launched its G Stylo smartphone with a built-in Stylus Pen back in 2015 and the Stylo 4 was launched last year. Expanding its lineup of smartphones with Stylus, today LG has announced LG Stylo 5 smartphone with Stylus, Octa-core processor, USB Type-C and more. LG Stylo 5 is the successor to LG Stylo 4 and the Stylo 5 flaunts a 6.2-inch FHD+ Full Vision display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It is powered by an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, but there is no mention if it is a Qualcomm or MediaTek SoC. It comes with 3GB RAM with up to 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 2TB with a microSD card. Xiaomi Mi CC9e with 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor gets certified

After the M1904F3BC, a new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1906F9SC has been certified by TENAA in China. This is said to be released as Mi CC9e tomorrow. CC9 wuith a 6.39-inch display got certified last month. The company has also posted image of the CC9 series in Dark and Light blue colors. We have some specifications of the smartphone that includes a 6.088-inch AMOLED screen, which should come with FHD+ resolution, and the image shows a DotNotch. It also confirms 153.48×71.85×8.475mah dimensions and a 4000mAh (typical) / 3940mAh (minimum) battery. 3C certification confirmed 18W fast charging support for the phone. It will pack a 32-megapixel front camera with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology that combines the information from four pixels to create one large pixel. The image shows a 48MP AI camera, along with an ultra-wide sensor and probably a telephoto lens. Paytm confirms it will not be charging convenience or transaction fee from users

Earlier today, reports emerged that Paytm will start charging/levying a convenience/transaction fee from users on using payments methods like Credit/Debit cards, net-banking, UPI and wallet. But now,Paytm has issued a clarification regarding this report on levying customers a convenience fee or a transaction fee. The report suggested that Paytm will start passing on the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) which usually are charged to customers by banks and card companies on digital transactions. The additional fee amounts to 1 percent on payments done through credit cards, 0.9 percent on debit cards and up to Rs. 12 to Rs. 15 for payments done through net banking and UPI and the report also said that the charge will be applicable on topping up Paytm wallet, movie tickets, utility bills and more. But shortly after the report, Paytm was quick to clarify it and said that it neither charges any transaction or convenience fee nor have any plans to charge from users. The company also said that users can continue using all services available on Paytm without any fee.
