Sony smartphone with six rear cameras and dual front cameras surface

Sony Mobile was said to be working on a smartphone with eight camera setup, but there was no clear information regarding the same. Now, according to new leaks, an unannounced Sony smartphone with six rear cameras and dual front camera surfaces. The leak also reveals a detailed specification of the hexa camera setup. According to a new leak from Max J on Twitter, an unannounced Sony smartphone is said to feature six cameras to the rear and dual cameras to the front. The rear cameras setup will be a combination of 48MP lens  f/1.2/f.2.4 aperture, 20MP lens with f/2.4, 16MP with f/2.4, 8MP with f/2.4, 12MP with f/1.2/f/2.4 and 0.5MP ToF unit. The front camera is said to be a dual camera setup with 10MP primary sensor and 0.3MP ToF unit. Google Neighbourly app update adds ability to post photos, create events, polls and more

Google launched Neighbourly local information sharing app last year and later opened up to cities across all of India. It was launched initially with a Q&A feature aimed at helping you ask your neighbours questions regarding the locality. Today, Google has released a new update to the app that adds the ability to post photos, create events, polls, and share tips. With the new 'Post Photos' feature, users can snap a photo of a meal that they enjoyed at a newly opened restaurant, share photos of attractions around their locality and more. The 'Create Events' option allows them to invite new neighbours to watch an upcoming cricket match, get quick inputs with 'Create Polls' feature and update neighbours on hazards and repairs happening on the roads through 'Share Tips' feature. There is also a new 'Search' feature that will allow users to search for the query they are looking for much faster instead of swiping through Q&A cards. Alongside these features, Google has also added 'Neighbourhood Challenge' which is a puzzle that will appear from time-to-time in the app and neighbours will then vote for the best contributor. Apple issues global recall for older 15-inch MacBook Pro units citing faulty battery issues

Apple MacBook has had issues like sticking and non-responsive keys, backlight issues in display and the company also acknowledged the same. Today, another issue has cropped up in 15-inch MacBook Pro models and Apple is voluntarily recalling some models globally for a faulty battery that is causing overheat and poses a safety risk. MacBook Pro 15-inch units that were sold primarily between September 2015 and February 2017 have this issue and "poses a safety risk", according to the company. Apple says that a "limited" number of units have been affected and is asking its customers to stop using affected 15-inch MacBook Pro units. Users can identify the model by the product serial number and check if it is eligible for a battery replacement. Apple will be replacing the batteries for free of cost and MacBook Pro 15-inch owners should visit Apple's official website for details on product eligibility and how to have a battery replaced. The service might take 1-2 weeks and Apple says that the device will be sent to an Apple Repair Center for service and will be examined prior to any service to verify the eligibility. Huawei just announced MediaPad M6 series 10.8″ and 8.4″ along with the Nova 5 series in China. It comes in 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch versions with WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, are powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 980 SoC and run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1 on top. These pack a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front camera. These feature a metal frame, but only the 10.8-inch model has a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display. HUAWEI Kirin 810 7nm Octa-Core SoC with Mali-G52 GPU, DaVinci NPU announced

HUAWEI just introduced Kirin 810 SoC, successor of last year's Kirin 710 that powers several mid-range smartphones. It also detailed some features of the processor. It uses 7nm processor technology, similar to the Kirin 980 flagship SoC, and the first for a mid-range SoC. This has two ARM Cortex-A76 bigger cores clocked at 2.27GHz and the other siz smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 1.88GHz. It has ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU, which has a 162% performance improvement over the previous generation and supports Kirin Gaming+ technology. In Geekbench, the Kirin 810 offers 11% better single-core scores and 13% better multi-core scores compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 8nm SoC, says HUAWEI. In GFXBench 1080p Mahattan test, the Kirin 810 with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU offers 44% improved frame rate over Snapdragon 730 with Adreno 618 GPU and it is 15% better frame rate in GFXBench 1080p T-Rex test.
