Airtel deploys LTE 900 technology to enhance indoor network coverage in Delhi NCR

After Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Punjab, Mumbai and Karnataka, Airtel has deployed 900 Mhz (LTE 900) spectrum band in Delhi NCR to significantly enhance the network experience for smartphone customers. In addition to high speed data capacity and wider availability, 900 Mhz spectrum will offer improved 4G availability inside buildings — homes, offices and malls. As part of its network transformation program, Airtel has been deploying network technologies such as pre-5G Massive MIMO and Carrier Aggregation to enhance network capacity over existing spectrum. The company said that it has recently conducted License Assisted Access (LAA) trial over a LIVE 4G network in Delhi and recorded speeds of 500 Mbps (appx.) over smartphones. It uses a mix of 2300 Mhz, 1800 Mhz, 2100 Mhz and 900 Mhz spectrum bands to deliver a seamless network experience to customers. As we introduce LTE-900, we will further step up our indoor network coverage. It will enable high speed connectivity and HD quality VoLTE calling for our customers in Delhi.

Xbox ‘Project Scarlett’ 8K gaming console with custom AMD processor, GDDR6 memory, Ray Tracing coming in 2020

At the E3 2019 Microsoft has announced details about its upcoming high-end Xbox console codenamed 'Project Scarlett'. It will be powered by  a custom-designed processor, leveraging the latest Zen 2 and Radeon RDNA architecture from AMD, pack high bandwidth GDDR6 memory, and a next generation solid state drive (SSD). It will feature hardware accelerated raytracing, variable refresh rate, 8K gaming support and ultra-low latency input. Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition coming to PC later this year

After the release of Age of Empires: Definitive Edition last year, Microsoft at the E3 2019 has announced the Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will be available for PC in the fall this year.  It will support cross-play between Windows 10 and Steam players at launch. OPPO A1K Review

OPPO launched its A1k smartphone in the Indian market targeting the budget segment recently. In general, the 'A' series smartphones from OPPO focuses more on battery, affordability and of course the display. We got hold of the device for some time and here's our take on it. In this case, OPPO has also managed to reduce bezels all around but has a thin chin at the bottom. The display looks decent with good colour reproduction, text looks sharp and offers good viewing angle too. Having said that, the sunlight legibility becomes an issue and it is not up to the mark. The earpiece is present on the top edge, and the camera is present below that. The ambient light sensors is present on the bezel. Nokia 8.1 gets a price cut in India, now available starting at Rs. 19999

Nokia 8.1 smartphone was launched in India in December 2018. Initially, the company launched the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant and after a month, the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage was launched. After nearly 4 months of launch, now both the variants of Nokia 8.1 have received a whopping Rs. 7000 price cut in India. Nokia 8.1 4GB RAM with 64GB storage was priced at Rs. 26,999 and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage was priced at Rs. 29,999. ASUS already confirmed that it will launch its flagship Zenfone 6 after it was announced at an event in Spain last month. Now Flipkart has confirmed that the phone will launch in India on June 19th, but as 6Z, after a recent high court order not to use 'Zen' or 'ZenFone' due to trademark issue.
