HMD Global has introduced Nokia 3.1 A and Nokia 3.1 C, the company's latest budget smartphones for US Carriers AT&T and Cricket Wireless, respectively. These have a 5.45-inch HD 18:9 aspect ratio screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 SoC, run Android 9 Pie, feature  8MP rear camera with flash, 5MP front camera, polycarbonate body and a 2900mAh battery with USB Type-C. It flaunts a 49-inch FULL HD 16:9 display with a resolution of 1920 x  1080 pixels, 178-degree viewing angle, 300 nits brightness and thin bezels. The TV has dimensions of 1110 x 110 mm and weighs 12.2 kg without the stand and 12.3 kg with the stand. It is powered by a dual-core CORTEX A53 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. HTC schedules an event in Taiwan on June 11, HTC U19e expected

HTC has scheduled an event in Taiwan on June 11th. The invite shows the date along with the letter 'e'. This is rumored to be the 'HTC 2Q7A100' that surfaced on AnTuTu and Geekbench back in April. AnTuTu listing revealed Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) 18:9 aspect ratio screenwithout a notch, Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone got certified by Taiwan's NCC revealing a no-notch design and possibly dual front cameras. It is also said to feature dual rear cameras and a 3,930mAh battery to support QC 4.0. Realme 5G smartphone will launch later this year

OPPO and OnePlus have introduced their 5G smartphones this year, now Realme has confirmed that it will launch 5G smartphones globally this year. OnePlus 7 Pro Stock Camera vs Google Camera comparison

OnePlus recently launched its OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone, a major upgrade from the OnePlus 6 series. The OnePlus 7 Pro for the first time brings a Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels)  19.5:9 aspect ratio screen that looks gorgeous. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 with liquid cooling, 12GB LPDDR4 RAM under the hood. Amazon Alexa to get support for Hindi soon

Amazon launched Alexa virtual voice assistant along with Echo devices in India back in 2017. Since then, it has been getting updates which added more skills, India specific features, and is getting improved over time. Today, Amazon revealed that it is working on infusing regional languages capabilities in Alexa for the Indian market including support for the Hindi language.  The support for the Hindi language on Alexa is still a work in progress and is still in early stages. According to the company, making Alexa just to speak Hindi might be a relatively an easy task, but the company has to navigate its way through challenges of getting the accents and the form of the language that is spoken in a particular place right which Alexa also has to understand and react accordingly. Amazon aims to make Alexa more natural and conversational with humans with new Machine Learning (ML) capabilities that they are applying now.  The company also adds that these challenges are not language dependent but more culture-dependent and they do not give customers that is half-baked. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7S with upgraded rear cameras compared to the Redmi Note 7 in India last month. Here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. The Redmi Note 7S packs dual cameras at the back arranged in a vertical array. The phone packs a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with single LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, 1/2" Samsung S5KGM1 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, 6P lens has support for PDAF, EIS along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera with 1/5" Samsung S5K5E8 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size to capture depth information in portrait shots.
