Google Maps gets local bus schedule, live train status and mixed mode commute suggestions in India

Google Maps has been getting new features of late, and we saw features like AR Navigation, speed limits and speed traps being rolled out to users recently. In similar lines, today, Google Maps in India is officially getting three new features namely Bus travel times from live traffic, live train status for Indian Railways trains, and mixed-mode commute suggestions. Bus schedule based on live traffic Google Maps is making the commute easier for users as now it will notify them about their bus schedule based on real-time traffic data. Google says that they are using public schedules and live traffic data to calculate delays and provide accurate travel times. In order to use the new bus schedule feature, users have to enter their starting location and destination, then tap the transit tab. The results for bus travel times from live traffic will indicate the time in green when the bus is running on time or red when the bus is delayed. This will help users to plan their commute easily. This feature initially will be available in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Chennai, Mysore, Coimbatore, and Surat. Nokia 3 Android Pie update starts rolling out

After rolling out Android Pie update for the Nokia 5.1 smartphone couple of months back, HMD Global has started rolling out the update for Nokia 3 as it had promised. The phone was introduced back in June 2017  running Android 7.0 (Nougat) and got Android 8.1 (Oreo) update back in April last year, so this is third major update the phone is getting. Samsung launches world’s first QLED 8K TV and 2019 QLED TV line-up in India

Samsung has launched the world’s first QLED 8K TV in India. It has 8K AI Upscaling, Quantum Processor 8K, and Quantum HDR. These come in four sizes — 98-inch (247 cm), 82-inch (207 cm), 75-inch (189 cm) and 65-inch (163 cm) — come with 33 million pixels, four times the resolution of 4K UHD TVs and 16 times that of a Full HD TV. Apple introduces macOS Catalina with new Music app for Mac, Sidecar, Screen Time and more

At WWDC 2019 event in San Jose, Apple unveiled its latest iOS 13, watchOS 6, tvOS 13 which comes with a lot of new changes and interesting features. Alongside those, Apple also introduced its next-generation macOS Catalina with a new Music app for Mac, Sidecar feature, Screen Time feature and more. iTunes replaced with Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and the Apple TV app Apple, with its latest macOS Catalina, is replacing iTunes app with three new apps namely Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV. Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with color screen, bigger battery to be announced on June 11

After leaks, Xiaomi's MIJIA or Mi Ecosystem brand has officially confirmed that it will introduce the Mi Band 4, successor of last year's Mi Band 3 at an event in China on June 11th. The company has confirmed that the new Mi Band will finally move to a color screen and promises better battery life compared to the Band 3. Recent leak showed OLED color screen with a large display area, heart rate sensor on the back and a charging connector on the back, while earlier bands had a charging connector on the bottom. Recent certification with model numbers XMSH08HM and XMSH07HM revealed Bluetooth 5.0 support and the XMSH08HM is the NFC model. It is said to come with a 135mAh battery, compared to 110mAh battery in the predecessor. It rumored to be priced starting at 199 yuan (US$ 28 / Rs. 1,990 approx.).
