Google services banned on upcoming HUAWEI smartphones as Google suspends business with the company

Google today announced that it has suspended some of its business operations with HUAWEI which includes a ban on using Google Services and Play Store. According to reports, the upcoming smartphones from HUAWEI won't have access to Google services. Google has suspended business with HUAWEI that requires the transfer of hardware products, software products, and technical services. The U.S Government has sought to blacklist to the services around the world. Xiaomi Redmi 7 goes on open sale in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7 smartphone in India last month, and the phone went on sale for the first time starting April 29th through Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting at Rs. 7999. It was sold every Monday after that, now the phone is available through open sale in the country in less than one month of launch. The Redmi Y3 that was launched alongside is yet to go on open sale, but the Redmi Note 7 went on open sale last month. To remind you, the phone packs a 6.26-inch HD+ Dot notch display, is powered by Snapdragon 632 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10, features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for capturing depth information in portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Redmi K20 with Snapdragon 855, 48MP rear camera, pop-up front camera to be announced on May 28

Xiaomi's Redmi brand just announced that its 'flagship killer' Redmi K20 will be introduced at an event in Beijing, China on May 28th. The company already said that it will be the Flagship Killer, will be powered by Snapdragon 855, feature a 48-megapixel rear camera and a pop-up front camera. The company already posted a teaser with a pop-up front camera that has been tested 300,000 times and a no-notch display. The new image says 'Whatever it takes' and 'flagship killer'. Redmi President Lu Weibing already confirmed that it will retain the 3.5mm audio jack the internal code name for the phone is ‘The Demon King’. The phone said to pack a 6.39-inch FHD+ OLED display, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, MIUI 10 based on Android Pie, 48MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 8MP telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens, 20MP pop-up front camera, sixth generation in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging. Samsung Galaxy S10+ Olympic Games Edition announced

Samsung has introduced Galaxy S10 + Olympic Games Edition (SC-05L) in Japan as a part of its 2019 summer lineup, ahead of 2020 Olympic Games in Japan. The company had been releasing Olympic Edition phones since 2018 with Galaxy Note Olympic Edition, Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Edition in 2014, Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition in 2016 and the Galaxy Note8 2018 Winter Olympic Games Limited Edition last year. And we should see a lot more, seeing as Samsung’s sponsorship of the event doesn’t end until 2028. This comes with a logo of Tokyo Olympics on the back cover and comes in Prism White color.  It comes in a different package from the regular version, and includes a specially designed Galaxy Buds earphones. Meizu 16Xs with FHD+ AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor gets certified

Meizu introduced 16s smartphone last month, now M926Q, a new smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China. This is expected to be 16 Xs, an enhanced version of the 16X that was introduced last year. It doesn't have a notch, similar to the 16X and the 16s, and the front camera is present on the top bezel. It is expected to come with Full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The image also shows triple rear cameras, and the phone is said to feature 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, OIS, telephoto lens and another camera to capture depth information in portrait shots. It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 710 with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage,  3.5mm headphone jack and support for mCharge fast charging. Micromax today announced a launch of a new smartphone in the budget segment to take on the other offerings in the market. Micromax iOne is the new budget smartphone from the company, and it comes with a 5.45-inch notch display, dual rear cameras, runs on Android 9 Pie and more. Micromax iOne sports a 5.45-inch 19:9 notch display with a resolution of 540 X 1132 pixels. It is powered by the UNISOC SC9863 octa-core processor which was seen on the itel A46 that was launched yesterday. The iOne sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD. Regarding the optics, it sports a single 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, both with LED flash. It is backed up by a 2200 mAH battery and runs on Android 9 Pie operating system. HP OMEN X 2S world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop, new OMEN and Pavilion gaming laptops announced

At the HP Gaming Festival in Beijing, HP announced a range of OMEN and HP Pavilion Gaming laptops which included the world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop OMEN X 2S. It is a first of its kind laptop with liquid metal compound cooled CPU and will go on sale in July 2019. HP OMEN X 2S is the world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop and comes in either 15-inch 1080p or 4K display options. The second screen is a 6-inch 1080p touchscreen mounted above the keyboard.  The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and another model with a 240Hz refresh rate is expected to come later this year. The laptop has a 20mm metal chassis and weighs 2.34 kgs.
