Micromax iOne with 5.45-inch 19:9 display, Android 9 Pie launched for Rs. 4999

Micromax today announced a launch of a new smartphone in the budget segment to take on the other offerings in the market. Micromax iOne is the new budget smartphone from the company, and it comes with a 5.45-inch notch display, dual rear cameras, runs on Android 9 Pie and more. Micromax iOne sports a 5.45-inch 19:9 notch display with a resolution of 540 X 1132 pixels. It is powered by the UNISOC SC9863 octa-core processor which was seen on the itel A46 that was launched yesterday. The iOne sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD. Regarding the optics, it sports a single 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, both with LED flash. It is backed up by a 2200 mAH battery and runs on Android 9 Pie operating system. HP OMEN X 2S world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop, new OMEN and Pavilion gaming laptops announced

At the HP Gaming Festival in Beijing, HP announced a range of OMEN and HP Pavilion Gaming laptops which included the world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop OMEN X 2S. It is a first of its kind laptop with liquid metal compound cooled CPU and will go on sale in July 2019. HP OMEN X 2S is the world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop and comes in either 15-inch 1080p or 4K display options. The second screen is a 6-inch 1080p touchscreen mounted above the keyboard.  The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and another model with a 240Hz refresh rate is expected to come later this year. The laptop has a 20mm metal chassis and weighs 2.34 kgs. Instagram update brings new design and adds stories to Explore tab

Instagram has been making changes and adding new features recently and now the company has announced changes to the Explore tab. In the new update, Instagram is introducing a new design to the Explore tab and also adds Stories to the Explore tab. The Explore section in Instagram is being used by people to discover new photos, videos, etc from accounts that they don't follow. Starting today, when users go to the Explore tab, they will notice a newly designed navigation bar, which features shortcuts to IGTV and Shopping followed by topic channels tailored to their interests, such as Food, Art and Travel. “IGTV” and “Shop” shortcuts are pinned to the front of the bar, making it easier to find products and videos from brands and creators that they love. Upon tapping the "IGTV" square or shortcut, users will see a recently updated home for "IGTV" and similarly when a user taps on the "Shopping" shortcut, they will have access to category filters in the navigation bar which will let them browse specific types of products. Xiaomi Redmi 7A gets certified, expected to be announced soon

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi 7 smartphone in China back in March, and it was launched in India last month. Today a new Xiaomi smartphone with model numbers M1903C3EE / M1903C3EC has been certified by TENAA in China, which is expected to be the Redmi 7A, successor of last year's Redmi 6A. The image shows a 18:9 aspect ratio screen, Redmi branding on the front, below the screen, and on the back, single rear camera with AI features and no fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 7 is powered by Snapdragon 632, and this is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC, compared to MediaTek Helio A22 in the predecessor. Amazon introduces new Fire 7 tablet with more storage, faster processor for $49.99

OPPO K3 with 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 710, in-display fingerprint sensor to be announced on May 23

OPPO today shared an image of the upcoming K3 smartphone, successor of last year's K1. The company has also confirmed that it will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.1% screen-to-body ratio and DC dimming, 16-megapixel pop-up front camera that lifts in 0.74 seconds. The pop-up mechanism has been tested over 200,000 times, says the company. It is powered by Snapdragon 710, compared to Snapdragon 660 in the predecessor and has an in-display fingerprint scanner, which should be an improved version. The image shows a gradient back with cured corners. It is said to come with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Another image confirms 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port on the bottom. Earlier rumors revealed a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera.
