Xiaomi Redmi 7A gets certified, expected to be announced soon
Xiaomi introduced the Redmi 7 smartphone in China back in March, and it was launched in India last month. Today a new Xiaomi smartphone with model numbers M1903C3EE / M1903C3EC has been certified by TENAA in China, which is expected to be the Redmi 7A, successor of last year's Redmi 6A. The image shows a 18:9 aspect ratio screen, Redmi branding on the front, below the screen, and on the back, single rear camera with AI features and no fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 7 is powered by Snapdragon 632, and this is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC, compared to MediaTek Helio A22 in the predecessor. OPPO K3 with 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 710, in-display fingerprint sensor to be announced on May 23
OPPO today shared an image of the upcoming K3 smartphone, successor of last year's K1. The company has also confirmed that it will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.1% screen-to-body ratio and DC dimming, 16-megapixel pop-up front camera that lifts in 0.74 seconds. The pop-up mechanism has been tested over 200,000 times, says the company. It is powered by Snapdragon 710, compared to Snapdragon 660 in the predecessor and has an in-display fingerprint scanner, which should be an improved version. The image shows a gradient back with cured corners. It is said to come with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Another image confirms 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port on the bottom. Earlier rumors revealed a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera.
