OnePlus 7 Pro Benchmarks and Gaming Review – Snapdragon 855 and 12GB RAM
OnePlus introduced its flagship OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone today. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with that has a tri-cluster architecture with 1 x Kryo 485 Prime CPU (A76-based) at up to 2.84GHz, 3 x Kryo 485 Performance CPUs (A76-based) at up to 2.42GHz and 4x Kryo 485 Efficiency CPUs (A55-based) at up to 1.80GHz and has Adreno 640 GPU, 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G announced, coming to EE in the UK and Elisa in Finland
Along with the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus also introduced the OnePlus 7 5G at its event, after the company showcased a 5G prototype smartphone at the MWC in February. As the company had already announced last year, it will be available exclusively with EE in the UK and Elisa in Finland. The company has not announced any other partnerships and did not reveal the price or the availability of the phone in these markets. It has similar specifications as the OnePlus 7, including the Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform, but this also includes the Snapdragon X50 5G modem and Qualcomm RF Front-End solutions for the 5G experience. EE said that OnePlus 7 Pro 5G customers will be able to access EE’s 5G network from launch in the UK’s four capital cities – London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast – plus Birmingham and Manchester. EE will then be rolling it out through 2019 across the busiest parts of ten more UK cities: Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry and Bristol - where it can make the biggest difference to people who live, work or travel through the busiest areas. OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 with Bluetooth 5.0, aptX HD, Warp Charge launched in India for Rs. 5990
OnePlus at its flagship OnePlus 7 series launch event introduced its new Bullets Wireless 2 Bluetooth headphones, successor of last year's Bullets wireless. It has a magnetic design that lets you turn it off just by attaching the headphones together, similar to the predecessor. It has a seashell-inspired stainless steel neck-band design with power button on the neck band and has in-line volume, music / call controls. It has two Knowles Balanced Armature Drivers and one 10mm dynamic driver in each earbud for cleaner, crisper sound across all frequencies. The headphones come with Bluetooth 5.0 with Qualcomm aptX HD and multi-point support that lets you double press to switch between two paired devices (OnePlus 5 or later). Qualcomm cVc noise cancellation technology ensure that every call is crystal clear. It supports Google Assistant as well. It also has Warp Charge support that lets you charge it using the same Warp Charger that comes with the phone and get up to 10 hours usage with just 10 minutes of charging. It has the same 6.41-inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED display with a notch on the 6T and an in-display fingerprint sensor, but this is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with OxygenOS 9.5, has a 48-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor along with a 5-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel camera on the front with Sony IMX471 sensor. It has a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass back, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an in-display fingerprint sensor as the 7 Pro, but this comes with 3700mAh battery with fast charging (5V – 4A) as the 6T. OnePlus just launched its flagship OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone at global launch events, as it had promised. It has a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display without a notch, 90Hz refresh rate, is powered by Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with up to 12GB of RAM with RAM Boost, 10-layer liquid cooling and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with OxygenOS 9.0 on top with built-in Screen Recorder and Zen Mode that will run for 20 minutes so you can receive only emergency calls and take quick photos. It has a pop-up 16MP front facing camera, and the company says that the elevating mechanism has been tested over 300,000 times. On the back there is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with 7-element plastic lens with an aperture of f/1.6, OIS and EIS support. There is also a 78mm 8-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, 1μm pixel size and OIS offering 3x loss-less zoom. HUAWEI's HONOR brand is all set to introduce its flagship HONOR 20 series at an event in London next week. Now the detailed specifications of the smartphone has surfaced. This reveals a 6.26-inch FHD+ screen with a 32-megapixel in-screen camera, 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor along with a 16-megapixel 117-degree ultra-wide sensor as well as two 2-megapixel camera with f/1.75 aperture and f/2.4 aperture, one for 4cm macro shots and other for depth sensing in portrait shots. It also shows a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, so this could use an LCD screen compared to OLED screen on the HONOR 20 Pro. Apple releases watchOS 5.2.1 with ECG functionality for more countries and new Pride watch face
Apple introduced watchOS5 at WWDC 2018 which brought the Walkie Talkie mode, Podcasts, Work-Out detection and more. Today, Apple has released the watchOS 5.2.1 which now includes an update to the 'Pride' watch face and the ECG functionality is now expanded to more European countries. Apple introduced the 'Pride' watch face in WWDC 2018, and in today's update, the Pride watch face is getting a new design with an updated style option. The new update brings the 2019 digital pride watch face which features rainbow stripes that wiggle when a user raises their wrist or tap on it. Along with this, Apple has also added two new Pride Analog faces where one of them is square shaped and the other is round shaped and these watch faces change colors each time the user raises their wrist. The new update also expands ECG functionality to more European countries including Croatia, Czech Republic, Iceland, Poland, and Slovakia and it also fixes an issue where the numbers on the Explorer face would not appear for some users. watchOS 5.2 is now rolling out worldwide and users can download through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General -> Software Update. HUAWEI P20 Lite 2019 with punch-hole display, quad rear cameras surface
HUAWEI introduced the P20 Lite smartphone last year, and recently we have also seen the P30 Lite. Now the images of the P20 Lite 2019 edition has surfaced. This shows a punch-hole display, quad rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a gradient back with an S-shaped curve. It also shows a plastic frame on the sides. It is said to feature 5.84-inch FHD + LCD screen, Kirin 710 SoC with 4GB of RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage and a 24-megapixel primary rear camera with f/ 1.8 aperture, while the details about other sensors are unknown. We can expect an ultra-wide sensor and a depth sensor. There is also a ToF sensor next to it. The HUAWEI P20 Lite 2019 is expected to come in Midnight Black, Gradiant Blue and Charming Red color variants and is expected to range between €280 (US$ 314 / Rs. 22,130 approx.) and €330 (US$ 370 / Rs. 26,080 approx.) depending on the storage version. Huawei launched the Y9 smartphone in January 2019 and the smartphone features dual front cameras and dual rear cameras. Today, the company has silently announced the Y9 Prime 2019 smartphone and has a lot of resemblance to the recently-launched Huawei P Smart Z smartphone. The Huawei Y9 2019 flaunts a 6.59 inch FULL HD+ TFT LCD screen, is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 12nm processor and comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB/128GB internal storage options. With regards to the optics, the Y9 Prime 2019 sports a triple rear camera setup and dual front camera setup. The rear camera is a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor and, a third 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 16MP fixed focus pop-up camera. On the software front, it runs EMUI 9 on top of Android 9 Pie, has a USB Type-C port and is backed up by a 4000 mAh(typical) battery.
