Airtel 4G Hotspot gets another price cut, now available at Rs.399 per month with 50GB monthly data
Airtel revised the price of its 4G hotspot device in December 2017 from its launch price in a bid to compete with incumbent operators. Today, Airtel 4G hotspot has received another price cut and now it is available at Rs.399 per month along with monthly data. Airtel is now allowing users to rent the 4G Hotspot for Rs.399 per month and the plan will come bundled with 50GB monthly data. Users can enjoy 4G speeds until 50GB and post that can use unlimited data at throttled speeds of 80kbps. With this new bundle offer, users can avail monthly data along with the 4G Hotspot device instead of purchasing the device and data separately. Airtel says that the unused data will be rolled over to next month and users have to pay Rs.399 every month, keep the SIM on the device to continue using the bundled package. The 4G Hotspot device delivers 4G speeds and switches to 3G network in places where there is no 4G network and has the ability to connect up to 10 devices at a time and claims to deliver 6 hours of battery life on a single charge. 2019 iPhone XR with dual rear cameras surface in renders
It is the time of the year when a lot of leaks and rumors about the upcoming iPhones circulate on the web. Recently, there were leaks regarding a new antenna technology for iPhone, triple rear cameras on iPhones, a smaller iPhone and more. In similar lines, today, a new report suggests that the 2019 iPhone XR will sport dual rear cameras housed in a square bump. The latest render of the upcoming iPhone XR reveals an addition of a vertical dual-lens camera setup with LED flash housed in a large square bump. It is expected to measure 150.9 x 76.1 x 7.8mm, with the thickest point being the camera bump at 8.5mm. There might not be a change in the size of the notch of the 2019 iPhone XR, and we might see the same notch that was present on the 2018 iPhone XR. After the P smart+ 2019 in March, Huawei has silently introduced the P Smart Z mid-range smartphone. This has a 6.59-inch Full HD+ Ultra FullView display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Kirin 710F SoC with 4GB RAM, support for GPU Turbo 2.0 and Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0 on top. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection. The phone comes with a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera. The company says that the pop-up mechanism has been tested with pressure of 12 Kg and the pop-up mechanism has been tested over 100,000 times for durability. Google releases latest Android Distribution data: Android Pie now on 10.4% devices, Oreo adoption climbs to 28.3%
Google is out with the latest Android distribution numbers for the month of May 2019. The company is posting this data after six months when Android Pie was not in the list since it was below 1%. Now, after nine months after Android Pie stable update started rolling out, it is running in just 10.4% devices. From 21.5% back in October last year, Android Oreo (8.1 and 8.0) is now on 28.3%. Nougat adoption is 19.2%, down from 28.2%, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now at 16.9%, down from 21.3%. Android Lollipop operating system adoption now stands at 14.5%, down from 17.9%. KitKat OS now on 6.9% devices, a slight decline from 7.6%. The data was collected before 7-days ending on May 7, 2019, said Google. With the company slowly ending support for older OS, we should see a slight growth in Android Pie. Android 10.0 Q will release in Q3 2019, but it might not be seen in the distribution charts before later this year or early next year. Source
Xiaomi teases a new triple rear camera phone for India
Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain recently teased that a new Xiaomi phone with the latest Snapdragon 700 series SoC (which should be the Snapdragon 730) will launch in India soon. Now the company has posted a new teaser that shows single, dual and triple cameras. This hints that the phone will come with triple rear cameras. Earlier rumor hinted at 48MP primary rear camera, 8MP telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 4000mAh battery for the phone. It is also said to be an enhanced version of the Mi 9SE, but we will have to wait for more teasers to find if this will be the Mi A3. At the Google I/O few hours back, Google introduced its Nest Hub Max smart display, a bigger version of the Home Hub, which is now called the Nest Hub. The Nest Hub Max features a 10-inch (1280x800 pixels) HD screen, comes with a 6.5-megapixel camera with 127-degree wide field of view and auto-framing, Face Match technology to show only your information, and you can also use it as a Nest Cam when you are away from home, use it for Google Duo calls. It shows all the connected devices in the Home View dashboard that lets you control music, see nest cam, control Thermostat and more.
