ASUSTOR AS4002T NAS Review
Last year ASUSTOR announced a NAS device — AS4002T first consumer NAS that integrate 10gb Ethernet with an RJ45 connector. The AS4002T is one of the world's first NAS containing a Marvell Armada Cortex-A72 64-bit dual-core processor. When compared with previous generation devices, it offers three and a half times more computing power as well. Talking about the design, the AS4002T comes with a refreshing yet trendy appearance. The aesthetically pleasing front has a removable crystal black magnetic pane (four magnets), which also dust-proof. By the way, no screws or any tools needed to open the front panel. HMD Global has launched Nokia 4.2, the company's latest Android One smartphone in India, as it had promised. OnePlus 7 with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, dual rear cameras surface in press image
After the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7 has surfaced in press shots. This shows the waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras and the alert slider on the right side, above the power button, similar to the OnePlus 6T. You can also see the small camera bump, and there are antenna bands on the sides of the phone since it has a metal frame. On the glass back, there is OnePlus logo below the flash, and also the OnePlus branding on the bottom part of the back. A recent leak revealed that the phone will come with a 6.4-inch (2340×1080 pixels) AMOLED screen. It will be powered by Snapdragon 855 with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB with 256GB storage. It is said to come with 48MP f/1.6 OIS primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 5MP secondary camera, in-display fingerprint scanner and a 3700mAh battery with 20W Dash Charge. Google rolls out May 2019 Android security update for Pixel devices, also available for Essential Phone
Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The update for this month doesn't have Pixel-specific patches, but Google says that it brings many functional updates and improvements to various parts of the Android platform and supported Pixel devices. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 said to come in two variants
Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform last year as a first commercial 5G platform and said that it will enable commercial networks and mobile devices in Early 2019. Today, new reports have emerged suggesting that the upcoming Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform could be launched later this year, and it could come in two variants. There have been some leaks regarding the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Mobile Plaform, and it is said to carry the code name SM8250 and come with an in-built 5G modem. However, according to a recent tweet from Roland Quandt at WinFuture, we might see a variant of the upcoming Snapdragon 865 sporting an external 5G modem too. According to the reports, Qualcomm is said to be working on two variants of the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform i.e., one with an integrated 5G modem(X55 5G modem) and another one with an external 5G modem. Facebook will shut down Bonfire group video chat app this month
Facebook launched its group video chat app 'Bonfire' in 2017. It was a clone of the group video chat app 'Houseparty' and today, Facebook has announced that it will be shutting down the Bonfire app as it did not receive the interest the company expected. Facebook started testing its group video chat app Bonfire in Denmark and other countries in Europe last year and it was a clone of 'Houseparty' app which was popular at that time. Houseparty had a synchronous group video chat feature where participants would open the app to see who was already online, hanging out digitally. However, the app did not receive the interest that Facebook expected. According to reports, HouseParty app's rank in the App Store declined to #327 a year ago and the app stopped being a threat to Facebook which led to Facebook's decision of shutting down 'Bonfire' now.
