Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro MIUI Software Update Tracker [Update: MIUI V10.2.10.0]

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India back in February running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). Xiaomi doesn't follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on an average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once in 30-60 days. Motorola Razr (2019) foldable smartphone surfaces in images

After rumors and patent earlier this year, the Motorola Razr (2019), the company's first foldable smartphone has surfaced in press shots on weibo in China. This shows resemblance to the iconic Razr handset, but this has display on the top and the bottom half that expands to reveal a large screen. The hinge is clearly visibly, and there is also a Motorola logo on the back. This resembles the patent. This shows a unique box with razr branding on the top. The box contents reveals a charging dock and also a USB Type-C to 3.5mm converter, so the phone won't feature a 3.5mm audio jack. Earlier rumor revealed that the phone will launch in the US exclusively on Verizon at a $1500 price tag. We still don't have any of the specifications of the smartphone. Via

Nubia Red Magic 3 with 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED 90Hz display, Snapdragon 855, 12GB RAM, active liquid-cooling announced

ZTE's Nubia brand just introduced Nubia Red Magic 3, the company's latest gaming smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate, HDR support, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with up to 12GB of RAM, and the company claims that it is the world’s first smartphone with an active cooling system that dramatically improving thermal performance. "While other gaming phones rely on passive cooling, the Red Magic 3 pairs state-of-the-art liquid cooling technology with an internal turbo fan, increasing effective heat transfer by 500%. This groundbreaking thermal design improves comfort and boosts performance for a smoother, more comfortable gaming experience," said the company. An additional hardware switch toggles "Red Magic Game Space 2.0," a gaming-focused dashboard. You can organize and quick-launch games, fine-tune performance settings and fan speeds, monitor temperature and usage stats in real time, block notifications for uninterrupted gaming, record in-game videos, and more. Samsung launched the S10 series of smartphones i.e., S10, S10+ and S10e in India in March 2019. The S10 was launched starting at Rs.66,900, S10+ at Rs. 73,900 and S10e at Rs. 55,900.  After a month of launch, today, Samsung has announced instant cashback offer and bank offers on the Galaxy S10 series which effectively brings the S10 series smartphones to a price starting at Rs. 46,990. Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A MIUI 10.3 Stable update starts rolling out

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 smartphones in India last yera running MIUI 9.5 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) update, and the stable MIUI 10 OTA update for the phones rolled out soon after. Today the company has rolled out new MIUI 10.3 Stable update for both the phones, after the Redmi 4.  Xiaomi recently dropped plans to offer Android Pie update for the phones and also stopped beta updates, but these phones will continue to get Android Pie updates. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A MIUI V10.3.2.0.OCGMIXM update are 279MB and 289MB in size and also include Android security patch for April, 2019, but some are reporting that Redmi 6 still shows March security patch. Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 listed officially, expected to launch in India

Nokia launched the Nokia 3.1 smartphone in India in July 2018 and it was mainly aimed at the offline market. The successor to the Nokia 3.1 i.e., Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 smartphones were announced by HMD global MWC this year and the company said that smartphones will roll out from April. In the same lines, today, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 have been listed officially on Nokia India website and it looks like the launch in India is imminent. Redmi Go Review: Every 500₹ matters

Realme launched the much awaited Realme 3 Pro last week in India. Realme 3 Pro is the company's flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 710 processor, up to 6GB RAM, VOOC 3.0 fast charging and more. Reliance Jio leads feature phone market in India in Q1 2019

Jio launched its feature phone, JioPhone in June 2017 in India. The phone sported a candy bar design, came with support for 4G VoLTE and had support for 22 Indian languages.  The successor to the JioPhone i.e., JioPhone 2 with QWERTY keyboard was launched in July 2018. Jio saw great sales of both the smartphones and today, new reports have emerged that Jio becomes the leader in the feature phone market. According to Counterpoint Research which is a global research firm specializing in mobile & technology products, Reliance JioPhone became the leader in the feature phone market in Q1 2019 with a market share of 30 percent. Samsung stands second in the feature phone category with a market share of 15 percent and LAVA grabs the third position with a market share of 13 percent.
