Realme 3 Pro 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version launched for Rs. 15999
Realme launched the much awaited Realme 3 Pro last week in India. Realme 3 Pro is the company's flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 710 processor, up to 6GB RAM, VOOC 3.0 fast charging and more. At the launch, Realme introduced the 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant and 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant. But, today, Realme has introduced a new variant of the Realme 3 Pro with 6GB RAM+64GB storage. Realme has officially announced a new 6GB RAM+64GB storage variant of the Realme 3 Pro smartphone and it will be available starting April 29. The 6+64GB variant is priced at Rs. 15,999. The new variant sits in-between the 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant and 6GB RAM+128GB variant as the 4+64GB is priced at Rs. 13,999 and 6+128GB is priced at Rs. 16,999. With the introduction of a new variant, there will be three variants of Realme 3 Pro that will be going on sale on April 29th, 2019. Reliance Jio leads feature phone market in India in Q1 2019
Jio launched its feature phone, JioPhone in June 2017 in India. The phone sported a candy bar design, came with support for 4G VoLTE and had support for 22 Indian languages. The successor to the JioPhone i.e., JioPhone 2 with QWERTY keyboard was launched in July 2018. Jio saw great sales of both the smartphones and today, new reports have emerged that Jio becomes the leader in the feature phone market. According to Counterpoint Research which is a global research firm specializing in mobile & technology products, Reliance JioPhone became the leader in the feature phone market in Q1 2019 with a market share of 30 percent. Samsung stands second in the feature phone category with a market share of 15 percent and LAVA grabs the third position with a market share of 13 percent. Also, according to the reports from Counterpoint Research, it is estimated that a little more than 400 million feature phones would be sold worldwide. Marvel Studios has released the much awaited Avengers: Endgame movie today, and we have seen unique promotions done by the company for the movie. Today, in order to celebrate the release of the Endgame movie, Google has added an Easter Egg for the Endgame movie and users can discover it by searching 'Thanos' on Google. Users can search for 'Thanos' on Google and click on the Gauntlet that is present in the snippet about Thanos. Once the user clicks on the Gauntlet, they will hear the Snap sound and discover that the search results start to vanish slowly, just like how the characters vanished in the Infinity war movie that was released last year upon a snap. The search results will be reduced to half and Google will also show the reduction in the count of the number of search results. Xiaomi smartphone powered by Snapdragon 730 launching in India soon
Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain has announced that he has met Rajen Vagadia, VP and President Qualcomm India and Kedar Kondap, VP, product management, Qualcomm regarding the next Xiaomi smartphone that will be powered by Snapdragon 7 series SoC that was announced two weeks back. This should be the Snapdragon 730 that was introduced on April 9th. Realme RMX1901 with 6.5-inch no-notch display, dual rear cameras gets certified
Two new Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX1901 and RMX1851 have been certified by TENAA in China. The RMX1851 is the Realme 3 Pro that was launched in India earlier this week, but the RMX1901 is a new model. The image shows a no notch on the front, so there might be a pop-up camera, gradient back, AI dual rear cameras and possibly an in-display fingerprint scanner since the is no fingerprint scanner on the back. Early specifications revealed are 6.5-inch no-notch display, which will likely come with Full HD+ resolution, similar to the Realme 3 Pro, dimensions of 161.2×76×9.4mm and a 3680mAh (minimum) battery, probably with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It will likely run Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 on top. We should know the complete specifications of the phone in the next few days. Xiaomi Redmi 4 MIUI 10.3 Stable update starts rolling out [Download Link]
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 4 running MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), later the smartphone received Android 7.1 (Nougat) followed by MIUI 9 update. The company updated the smartphone to MIUI 10 Stable for the smartphone back in November. Now, the company has started rolling out Another update for the Redmi 4.
