Sony PlayStation 5 said to come with 3rd Gen Ryzen CPU, 8K graphics support, Ray Tracing and more

Sony launched its popular console PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation VR in India in February 2017 and is long due for a refresh. According to fresh reports, Sony could be unveiling the next generation PlayStation with completely new hardware. It is expected to be powered by CPU from AMD, GPU, Ray Tracing, SSDs, and more features. The PlayStation 5 is expected to be powered by 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen CPU. It is an 8-core processor and is based on the new 7nm Zen 2 microarchitecture. With regards to the GPU, it is expected to come with a custom variant of Radeon’s Navi family and will support ray tracing which is a first in a gaming console device. Ray Tracing is a technique that models the travel of light to simulate complex interactions in 3D environments. The PS5 is also said to come with support for 8K graphics and the true 8K quality can only be experienced on an 8K television. OnePlus 6T, 6, 5T and 5 OxygenOS beta update brings Parking location feature, April security patch and more

OnePlus has released new OxygenOS open beta updates for the OnePlus 6 (beta 16), 6T (beta 16), 5 (beta 30) and 5T (beta 28) that brings several improvements, including improved network speed display, support for quick reply in the notification bar in landscape mode, tutorial in shelf and more. It also adds new Parking location feature in the launcher. Parking location service lets you location your vehicle which has been parked. This lets you mark the location using GPS. It doesn't support indoor car parking, but you can keep the parking info by taking a photo, says the company. The latest OxygenOS beta updates for the phone are about 160MB in size and also includes Android security patch for April 2019. If you had already flashed previous beta build, you will get an OTA update, otherwise you have to flash the full beta ROM from here. Check out the complete changelog below. MIUI Global Beta update brings Digital Wellbeing-like Screen Time Feature

Google announced Digital Wellbeing feature with Android Pie aimed at being responsible with smartphone usage. Digital Wellbeing helps you understand your phone usage better, app usage timers so that you can limit the usage, visuals detailing how many times you unlock your phone per day and how many notifications you receive. The Wind Down feature limits notifications and also gradually turns the display greyscale, to make it easier on the eyes and to encourage you to unplug. Various OEMs like Samsung and Huawei had introduced their own versions of it called Digital Wellbeing and Digital Balance respectively. Xiaomi's MIUI gets updated biweekly, including closed beta on every Tuesday and public beta on every Friday. This week, Xiaomi has introduced Screen Time their own version of digital wellbeing. Twitter to test ‘hide replies’ feature in June, outlines ‘progress’ in actions against abusive content

Micro-blogging site Twitter is working on giving users a healthier service that is free of abuse, spam and other things that distract from the public conversation. Having said that, the company today shared progress and changes that can be expected in the upcoming months. They have listed out the progress as below: 38% of abusive content that’s enforced is surfaced proactively to our teams for review instead of relying on reports from people on Twitter. 16% fewer abuse reports after an interaction from an account the reporter doesn’t follow. 100,000 accounts suspended for creating new accounts after a suspension during January-March 2019 –– a 45% increase from the same time last year. 60% faster response to appeals requests with our new in-app appeal process. 3 times more abusive accounts suspended within 24 hours after a report compared to the same time last year. 2.5 times more private information removed with a new, easier reporting process. The company is taking a proactive approach to abuse in addition to relying on people’s reports. Samsung just launched the Galaxy A70, the company's latest A-Series smartphone in India, after it was introduced last month. Basking in the glory of OnePlus 6T, OnePlus is all set to launch its next generation of killer flagship smartphones very soon. Ahead of its release, the pictures of purported OnePlus 7 Standard and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones have surfaced online. As per the image, the Standard OnePlus 7 shares similar design language as the OnePlus 6T, while the OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a pop-up selfie camera and a triple camera setup. Moving in-depth, the renders of OnePlus 7 looks more or less similar to 6T with a minor change in the placement of flash.
