Xiaomi launches Mi Pay mobile payment solution in India
Xiaomi has officially launched Mi Pay, the company's latest mobile payment solution in India, after it was introduced back in December last year. Mi Pay is supported by ICICI Bank, has a basic UI and it requires Phone, Contacts and SMS permissions to run. Users have an option to transfer money to UPI address and Bank Account directly. Mi Pay is integrated within the Contacts, SMS, Scanner apps as well as App Vault in MIUI. It lets you easily transfer money to others through UPI, make payments for several utilities such as phone bill/recharge, DTH recharge, water bill, electricity bill and more than 120 billers. All user-generated data will be kept in a highly encrypted format within the India-based cloud infrastructure, said that company. HUAWEI's HONOR brand has silently introduced HONOR 10i, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone. It has a 6.21-inch Full HD+ water drop notch display with about 90% screen-to-body ratio, but other specifications are similar to the Nova 4e that was introduced in China last week, including a Kirin 710 SoC, Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0, 24-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots, 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide-angle lens and 32-megapixel front camera with AI beautify features. Google to shut down Inbox by Gmail on April 2

OPPO has silently introduced AX5s smartphone in Taiwan, and it is expected to be introduced as A5s in other markets. This has similar specifications as the A5 that was introduced last year, including a 6.2-inch HD+ waterdrop notch screen, 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 4230mAh battery, but this is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC instead of Snapdragon 450. It comes with 3GB RAM with 64GB storage, and still runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ColorOS 5.2 on top. Dimensions are also slightly different since this is a bit smaller, and this comes with a plain back instead of diamond patterns on the A5. Samsung Galaxy A40 with Infinity U display, dual rear cameras surface
Samsung announced that it will introduce new Galaxy A series smartphones at an event on April 10th. Now the press renders of the Galaxy A40 (SM-A405F) smartphone has surfaced showing the phone's Infinity-U screen with minimal bezels, and it will likely be a Super AMOLED screen, similar to the Galaxy A30. It also shows dual rear cameras, which should be a standard lens along with an ultra-wide angle lens. It has a gradient finish on the shiny back. RCOM and Reliance Jio terminate multi-crore wireless infrastructure asset deal by mutual consent
Reliance Communications (RCOM) just announced that the deal between RCOM, RTL, RITL (RCOM Group) and RJIL for sale of certain specified telecom assets have been terminated today by mutual agreement. The company says that this is due to lack of consent from its lenders and permissions from telecom department among other reasons since the agreements nearly 15 months ago. Back in December 2017, Reliance Jio signed an agreement for the acquisition of specified telecom assets of Reliance Communications (RCOM) and its affiliates as a part of RCOM’s debt reduction. Later in August 2018, RCOM announced the completion of the sale, worth Rs 2,000 crore, to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIO).
