Huawei View 20 Camera Samples

Recently, Huawei’s HONOR brand launched the View20 smartphone in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 37,999. The latest outing from Honor boasts latest specifications, trendy V-shaped texture on the glass back, and capable camera setup.  With a screen-to-body-ratio of 91.82%, the View 20 packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ All-View Display with just 4.5mm cut out for 25MP front camera. Further, it is powered by Kirin 980 SoC with GPU Turbo 2.0,  liquid cooling, up to 8GB RAM. Talking about the USP, the Honor View 20 sports a 48-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX586 1/2-type (8.0 mm diagonal) sensor, uses 4-in-1 light fusion that outputs better low-light images at 12MP resolution. Further, it also has a TOF 3D secondary rear camera that lets you play games using 3D gesture recognition by capturing body movements. Nokia 5.1 Plus 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB storage launched in India

HMD Global launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus Android One smartphone in India back in September last year with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage at Rs. 10999. Today the company has launched new 4GB RAM with 64GB strorage, as well as 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version for Rs. 14,499 and Rs. 16,499, respectively. The new variants of the Nokia 5.1 Plus come in Gloss Black, Gloss White and Gloss Midnight Blue and will be available starting 7th February 2019 online on Nokia.com/phones; and starting 12th February 2019 across offline retailers. Instagram said to be working on ‘Main Account’ feature to manage multiple logins easier

Facebook is said to be working on bringing Instagram login as an option while logging in with apps and websites. Instagram has prototyped the “Main Account” feature that would let users set one of their profiles as a primary account and then link their other accounts to it. Logging into the main account would instantly log them into the rest, as well. This eliminates the need for remembering multiple email/username and password combo. A simpler login could get people switching accounts, posting and engaging more with Instagram. Account linking could also power up Instagram’s existing login platform. As it stands currently, third-party apps use it to let you compose feed posts and Stories and then share them to Instagram. Google has introduced two new apps for Android: Live Transcribe and Sound Amplifier designed to help hearing-impaired. Live Transcribe app takes real-world speech and turns it into real-time captions using just the phone’s microphone. Live Transcribe is available in over 70 languages and dialects. It also enables two-way conversation via a type-back keyboard for users who can’t or don’t want to speak, and connects with external microphones to improve transcription accuracy. Google expands Instant Tethering to more Chromebooks and smartphones

Google has announced Instant Tethering will be available on more Chromebooks starting today. Meaning, you can connect to the internet via a paired Android phone’s cellular network connection, as long as tethering is enabled on your mobile data plan. Eliminating the long lengthy procedure which usually takes for tethering, Instant Tethering lets you pair your Android phone with your Chromebook during an initial set-up process, then accessing the internet only takes a single click. When your Chromebook detects that it has no Wi-Fi access point, it provides a notification that a data connection is available through your mobile device. Instant Tethering is activated once you click the “Connect” button on that notification. Additionally, Instant Tethering will automatically disconnect if it detects 10 minutes of no activity to save you power and data. Prior to this change, Instant Tethering was available on only a few devices, including Pixelbooks and Pixel Slates paired with either Pixel or Nexus phones. But now, Instant Tethering is available on 15 additional Chromebook models and over 30 cell phone models.  The company said that it will bring Instant Tethering to even more Chromebook and phones in the coming months.
