Samsung is known to be working on the Galaxy S10 flagship series which is due in February. Though we have been hearing reports and rumors about the phones, there's still a lot more to know. Before the official public launch, the standard S10 has surfaced the internet along with it brought our first look at the company’s new cryptocurrency wallet, Samsung Blockchain KeyStore. One thing that we can be sure of is the fact that the Galaxy S10 will have a punch hole “Infinity O” display with in-display camera present on the right side. Though the live image doesn't reveal much in terms of the hardware specifications, as expected the phone comes with a bezel-less design. There’s a loose gap between the camera and the battery icon. Moving along, the company’s new cryptocurrency wallet as the company describes is a secure and convenient place for your cryptocurrency. Users can apparently import currency from other wallets or create a new one with the app. The current build only has support for Ethereum, but presumably, at the time of launch, it would also support Bitcoin and other popular cryptocurrencies. Apple hires Samsung’s battery executive Soonho Ahn to lead its work
Apple has hired Soonho Ahn executive from Samsung SDI Co., which is the battery making affiliate of Samsung Electronics Co. This move will help Apple lead its own battery department. Soonho Ahn joined Apple in December as global head of battery developments, after working as a senior vice president at Samsung SDI since 2015, according to his LinkedIn profile. At Samsung SDI, Ahn led the development of lithium battery packs and worked on "next-generation" battery technology. Samsung is the largest shareholder of Samsung SDI and the company’s biggest customer. Apple has used batteries from Samsung SDI to power its own products in the past. Apple, on the other hand, is working towards reducing its reliance on third-party components, and the notable battery technology hire suggests it may be doing the same for batteries. The company has been working on its MicroLED display technology for future devices, meaning this would cut off its reliance with Samsung in other areas too. It is also building its own processors and is investigating the development of its own cellular modems. The company has been in talks with Cobalt, a key component of battery packs, directly from miners. Source

He later went on to become the senior engineering program manager four years later. Since 2012, Stevenson has been a Senior Manager for Mac/Windows Program Management. He has had a hand in every major release from Lion right up to Mojave last year. Google hiring an engineer with such background comes as a no surprise. In a LinkedIn post shared yesterday, Stevenson notes “joining Google to help bring a new operating system called Fuchsia to market.” His expertise will also extend to working with hardware groups, as well as third-party developers, which will be important for building an app ecosystem. According to reports from July 2018, Google might be planning to release a smart speaker running Fuchsia within the next ...
