ASUS Zenfone Max M2 update brings front camera EIS, Max Pro M2 update brings FM Radio noise reduction and more [Download Link]

In less than couple of weeks after rolling out an update, ASUS has started rolling out another update for the Zenfone Max Pro M2 smartphone that brings several fixes camera interface and text translation optimization, and improves to reduction on FM Radio,  however it is yet to receive AI camera features. The company has also rolled out an update to Max M2 that brings EIS support for the front camera, as it had promised at the launch. It also brings Fingerprint registration improvements and camera performance optimization. The update also brings December 2018 Android security patch for both the smartphones. ASUS already promised Android Pie update for the Max Pro M2 this month. ASUS has announced that it will roll out the update in batches, but you can download the full ZIP file from the links below and update the phones manually. ROG ZEPHYRUS S GX701 ultra-slim gaming laptop with 17.3-inch 144Hz display and Mothership GZ700 announced

Asus's ROG brand has introduced the Mothership GZ700 and ZEPHYRUS S GX701 ultra-slim gaming laptops which comes with ultra-fast 144Hz/3ms G-Sync display powered by the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics and Intel Core i98950HK CPU that runs at up to 4.3GHz with all six core.  The ROG Mothership GZ700 gaming device sports a 17.3-inches FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS-level panel display with 144Hz, 3ms, 100% sRGB, Optimus, G-SYNC. It is powered by the Intel Core i9-8950HK coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. It packs up to 64GB DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM and 512GB SSD  3 x M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4. Ledger Nano X Bluetooth-enabled hardware wallet announced

Ledget, the popular French startup has introduced new Nano X hardware wallet with support for Bluetooth to store your private keys at the ongoing CES 2019. The successor of the Nano S comes with enhanced state-of-the-art security and an improved user experience and design. Bluetooth feature connects through the Ledger Live Mobile app, available in the App Store and Google Play on January 28th, providing increased mobility without sacrificing security. The Ledger Nano X can store up to 100 crypto assets, which is six times more capacity than the Ledger Nano S, and includes an improved interface with a larger screen. It has cutting-edge (CC EAL5+), the same chip used in highly secure applications such as credit cards and passport in several countries that isolates private keys from the owner’s computer or smartphone, which are easily hackable, in order to protect their cryptocurrencies. It supports over 1100 different cryptocurrencies, so that you can check your accounts, as well as send and receive cryptocurrency payments from anywhere. Razer has announced a new range of the Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model gaming laptops. This upgrade is mostly focused on increased graphics performance with the inclusion of new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series GPUs. The company has also introduced the all-new 27-inch gaming monitor concept; the Razer Raptor. All models are powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H 6 core processor, 16GB of dual-channel system memory with up to 512 GB of fast SSD storage. Additionally, it also comes with a new Windows Hello-capable IR camera. Samsung introduces new Notebook Odyssey Gaming Laptop with 15.6-inch 144Hz display, 8th gen Intel Core i7 and GeForce RTX 2080 GPU

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new Notebook Odyssey at the CES 2019. It comes with reduced bezels giving scope for a 144Hz display to shine. It is powered by the Intel 8th generation hexa-core i7 processor coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series GPU.  It comes with two redesigned Jet Blade blowers that sport 83 blades each, and a new Penta-pipe cooling system allows the machine to run as fast and as cool as possible. Odyssey Mode allows users to save settings presets under different profiles for various types of games. Beast Mode lets users modulate the performance depending on the software it is running, and the Black Equalizer helps users get a leg up on the competition by improving in-game lighting.  It sports a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 144Hz refresh rate and G-Sync. It is powered by the Intel Core i7 coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. It packs 16 GB RAM and 256 GB NVMe SSD/ 1 TB HDD. HP Spectre X360 15 with AMOLED display, refreshed Omen 15 laptops and AMD-powered Chromebook 14 announced

HP has announced a revamped version of the current generation x360 15 convertible laptop that comes with a 15.6-inch AMOLED display since the display is key hardware for the laptop, it is a significant upgrade. Apart from this, the company has also announced upgrades to OMEN 15 gaming laptops with NVIDIA’s next-generation GeForce GPU and introduced Chromebook 14 at the CES.  The AMOLED panel offers very bright and accurate colors, a very high contrast ratio, wide horizontal viewing angles, deep blacks, fast response time. The company says that the display will support HDR, but doesn't specify whether it is HDR10 or Dolby Vision spec. HP didn't reveal the screen resolution as well. It is powered by the powered by Intel’s quad-core Whiske Lake-U processors coupled with NVIDIA’s discrete GeForce GTX GPUs. The HP OMEN 15 gaming laptop comes with NVIDIA’s next-generation GeForce GPUs. It packs a 240Hz refresh rate display and a new WiFi 6 (802.11ax) controller. Huami’s Amazfit has introduced Cor 2 fitness band in China with support for 5 ATM water-resistant rating and NFC support for payments. It has the same 1.23-inch LCD color 2.5D curved glass touch screen, but this comes with a polycarbonate body and a 160mAh battery with up to 20 days of battery life. Other features including weather forecasts, activity, sleep and exercise tracking are similar to the predecessor.
