Apple said to have cut down additional production of all three iPhones
Recently it was reported that Apple has cut the additional production of the iPhone XR owing to the poor reception. Now according to report from WSJ, the company has cut production orders for all three iPhone models launched in September in recent weeks. According to the Wall Street Journal source, the company has witnessed a lower-than-expected demand for the new iPhones and Apple's move to offer more iPhone models made it difficult for the company to anticipate the number of components and handsets the company needs. Apple with a lower-than-expected sales forecast for the Christmas quarter has surprised investors and this prompted certain suppliers to issue warnings pointing at week sales of the new iPhones. Apple did not respond to a request for comment. At the moment, it isn't clear on how many orders were cut down. Source | Via

Microsoft acknowledges iCloud Windows 10 October 2018 build compatibility issue
Even though Microsoft fixed the data loss issue and resumed the Windows 10 October update, few users are reporting iCloud for Windows compatibility issues. As reported, the latest version of Windows 10 is incompatible with the latest version of iCloud. However, Microsoft and Apple are said to be working together to resolve the issues. After the Windows 10 October 2018 update, when users attempt to install the latest version of iCloud, version 7.7.0.27, they’re presented with an error message which reads “requires Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 (April 2018 Update) and earlier.” For those users who already had the app installed prior to the latest Windows 10 update, there are numerous issues with Photos syncing and other features. In a post on its support webpage, Microsoft says it is blocking users from installing the Windows 10 October 2018 build who already have the iCloud app. Additionally, Microsoft says it is working with Apple to “provide a compatible version” of iCloud for users. Apple has identified an incompatibility with iCloud for Windows (version 7.7.0.27) where users may experience issues updating or synching Shared Albums after updating to Windows 10, version 1809. Users who attempt to install the app (version 7.7.0.27) on Windows 10, version 1809 ...
LG G7 One Android 9.0 (Pie) stable update starts rolling out
Android Pie is slowly making its way to mainstream smartphones and LG G7 One is one among them. Given how the LG G7 One is the company's first Android One smartphone, this update doesn't come as a surprise. The update is of size 812MB and is rolling out in Canada. The update also brings November security patch as well including other features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, Slices API, gesture navigation, and more. The kernel source code for the Android Pie release has already been uploaded as well. While the entire changelog isn't available, the update reportedly brings improved camera functionality and "Usability improvements through Google patch." LG back in April opened up a dedicated center to deliver faster software updates. However, the update to LG G7 One shouldn’t be too surprising since Android One devices are pretty close-to-stock, we are yet to see the results of the dedicated update center. Android P includes Adaptive Battery that uses machine learning to prioritize system resources for the apps, App Actions that helps you raise the visibility of your app and help drive engagement using machine learning, and Slices are a new way to surface rich, templated content in places like Google Search and Assistant. If you are one of the LG ...
