OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color variant announced officially
After leaks, OnePlus has officially introduced the new Thunder Purple color variant in China that joins the Midnight Black and Mirror Black variants. It has a Gradiant finish on the back and a has five different layers of frosted glass have been carefully applied to the device to create the elegance look and feel. Similar to the Midnight Black, this has a jagged texture etched onto the film to produce a subtle S-shaped line when the phone is reflected in light. Other specifications are similar, including a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with 86% screen-to-body ratio, Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM, dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel rear camera and 20-megapixel secondary camera, 16-megapixel Sony IMX 371 sensor on the front, Nightscape mode that can recognize night scenes to deliver brighter, more vivid images with more clarity and less noise, in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3700mAh battery. The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple version comes only in 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and is priced at 3599 yuan (US$ 519 / Rs. 37,985 approx.) in China. Both these are powered by Bluetooth 5.0 and offer long battery life. The Funcl W1 true wireless headphones is powered by Bluetooth 5.0, has easy touch control, ergonomics and promises up to 18 hours total battery life. The Funcl AI is the most affordable AptX headphones offering Hi-Fi sound quality and extremely low latency (< 60 ms) for the best gaming experience, says the company. It is also powered by Bluetooth 5.0, and promises up to 24 hours of battery life with the charging case and the headphones can last for 6.5 hours on a single charge. It also has IPX5 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Funcl W1 and Funcl AI are priced at $19.99 (Rs. 1,460 approx.) and $54.99 (Rs. 4,010 approx.), respectively and will be available for order through Indiegogo campaign starting November 13th.

Samsung officially announced the Galaxy A9 2018 (SM-A920F), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone that comes with quad rear cameras last month. Here we have the first look of the phone in the form of a photo gallery. The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo). Motorola Qi wireless charging pad gets certified by the WPC
Motorola is said to be working on a new Qi wireless charging pad, as it has been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). Since there is no Motorola phone that supports wireless charging at the moment, it means that the company might be launching the wireless charging pad as a bundle with a smartphone that includes the support. The only wireless charging that Motorola supports is through the Moto Power mod for Moto Z-series. The new wireless charging pad comes with CHR-0661 type number, and the date of registration in the Wireless Power Consortium is Nov 2, 2018. The description reads; that it packs a slim-disk shape with the soft touch non-slip surface, non-slip base. It comes with discreet LED charging indicator, supports Qi wireless charging thermal protection and foreign object detection. It will be available with or without a charger. LG, E-mart introduce CLOi CartBot smart shopping cart robot
LG Electronics has inked an agreement with E-mart Inc., a retail giant in South Korea, to develop a new type of service robot that can assist shoppers at supermarkets. Under the agreement, the two companies will develop a smart-cart robot that can automatically identify obstacles and follow shoppers as they walk through aisles. The company said that these new robots will free visitors from the hassle of pushing heavy carts by themselves. These will be developed by the company's research lab. LG so far has released eight different products under the brand, which are suited for different tasks, including guiding, cleaning and even mowing the lawn. The company already introduced the CLOi SuitBot, a robot which will help workers lift and move heavy objects easier. LG as a company has been actively partnering with different clients to bolster its robot business. This includes airports, bakeries, and retail shops. The company says that CLOi stands for clever, clear, close operating intelligence. It features a 16-megapixel sensor and sports a 5-inch incell FullHD Multi-Touch display and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. It comes with 16-megapixel Panasonic's M4/3 CMOS sensor that can record 4K videos at 30fps and 8MP front-camera photos. It is powered by the equipped with an Octa-core Qualcomm processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It will come with a stereo mic, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual LED flash, and a 4000mAh battery. While most of the specifications are similar to a smartphone, the fact that it supports DSLR lenses and a large Four-Thirds sensor makes the YN450 special. OnePlus 6T ‘Thunder Purple’ color variant surfaces in press images
OnePlus last week has launched the OnePlus 6T flagship, and the device comes in two colors — Midnight Black and Mirror Black. However, post the main launch, the company usually brings out a new color variant later in the year giving users more options to chose from. This time too OnePlus seems to be planning a new Thunder Purple color. The leaked renders were spotted on the OnePlus support page in a drop-down menu that allows users to choose a variant of the OnePlus 6T where the Thunder Purple color is one among them. After launching the Midnight Black and the Mirror Black of the OnePlus 6 in May and later introduced the Silk White and Red editions. Given the history of OnePlus, the Thunder Purple color is one among the several options that the company might be launching in the coming soon. Much like the OnePlus 5T, and OnePlus 6 Avengers edition, OnePlus might also introduce a limited edition variant with movie theme later this year. Rest of the specifications remain the same. Reliance Jio begins eSIM activation on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR
After Airtel started eSIM activation for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR in India a few days back, and quickly paused it, Reliance Jio has started eSIM activation for the eligible iPone users from today, after the support was enabled with iOS 12.1 update earlier this week. Apple already announced that Airtel and Reliance Jio will support eSIM in India, and more partneres will be added next year. With Dual SIM support, you can use two numbers on the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max or iPhone XR, one of your normal SIM, and the other one, a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan from your carrier without having to use a physical nano-SIM. To activate eSIM on Jio, you need to visit nearest JioStore or Reliance Digital along with your iPhone for the IMEI and fill CAF (Customer Acquisition Form). Once the details are confirmed, Jio representative enters the details on POS (Point Of Sale) machine and generates the QR code and scans it on your iPhone to activate the eSIM.
