Apple releases iOS 12.0.1 update with fixes for wired charging issue, Wi-Fi bug and more

Even though Apple might have teased the upcoming iOS 12.1 update that will bring several new features including 70 new emojis, it has released iOS 12.0.1 update for the iPhone and iPad that brings fixes for several issues, including the  weird charging bug on the iPhone XS. This bug caused the phone not charge automatically despite being plugged in. The update also fixes a major Wi-Fi bug that could cause some iPhone XS devices to prefer to join a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network rather than a 5GHz, as well as reorientation of the "123" number key on the iPad, which was moved in the iOS 12 update and swapped with the emoji/language key. POCO finally addresses POCO F1’s screen bleeding reports

POCO has finally addressed POCO F1's "screen bleeding" issue reported by several users. The company has released a statement saying that less than 0.3% of total users have experienced edge light dispersion, which can be fixed through service centres after the phone is examined if there is any issues. However this does not affect the performance or usability of the phone , it added. It assured that it would be working further to reduce tolerances. Xiaomi Redmi 5A sales cross 10 million units in India since launch

Xiaomi today announced that it has sold 10 million Redmi 5A smartphones in India in 9 months of launch. It was launched in November last year and it started selling from December. It crossed the 5 million mark in March this year. The company said that this is the fastest selling smartphone in India to hit the incredible 10 million mark in a short span since its launch. It also said that it is the only smartphone in India to have retained the number one position and continues its dominating feat in the market upon launch for nine consecutive months. OnePlus 6T India launch event set for October 30, entry ticket sales begin October 17

How to disable material design UI in Chrome

A few weeks back Google rolled out Chrome with a new design and features across all browsers including desktop, iOS, and Android in a way of celebrating its 10th anniversary. Named as Google Chrome 69, it didn't go well with everyone, as half of them wants to retain the simple yet old chrome material design. Optiemus has launched the TCL-made BlackBerry KEY2 LE, a cheaper version of the KEY2 in India. Nubia X with 6.26-inch FHD+ bezel-less display, secondary 5.1-inch OLED display to be announced on October 31

Nubia’s CEO Ni Fei has confirmed that the Nubia X, the company's next flagship smartphone with dual displays will be announced on its 6th anniversary on October 31st. The phone got certified by TENAA as NX616J last month revealing a 6.26-inch FHD+ LCD screen on the front and a 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED screen on the back, dual fingerprint sensors on the sides, just below the power button and the volume rockers. Similar to TENAA, the invite didn't reveal the front camera. Since this has a second screen, you can use the cameras on the back for selfies. Samsung Galaxy S10 powered by Exynos 9820 could come with dedicated NPU

Samsung is working on Exynos 9820, successor of the Exynos 9810, which will likely debut with the Galaxy S10 next year. Now, ex-Samsung Senior Hardware Design Engineer working on the next Exynos flagship chip on LinkedIn has mentioned that Samsung has completed working on its second-generation NPU architecture earlier this year.
