LG Watch W7 Hybrid Wear OS Smartwatch with mechanical hands announced

Alongside the LG V40 ThinQ, LG announced the LG Watch W7, its first hybrid smartwatch that combines mechanical movement with digital functionalities powered by Wear OS by Google. It features quartz movement and physical watch hands in a stainless steel body and has been developed in partnership with Soprod SA of Switzerland. It has altimeter, barometer, stopwatch, timer and compass directions.  It promises full day battery life on a single charge. It can run for up to two days with average use and an additional 3-4 days in analog-only mode. In mechanical watch-only mode with its "smart" features disabled, the watch can operate for up to 100 days, or more than three months of battery life. LG V40 ThinQ with 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display, triple rear cameras, dual front cameras announced

LG has announced its flagship V40 ThinQ penta camera smartphone as it had promised. It has a 6.4-inch FullVision OLED display with bottom bezel that is 1.6mm thinner than the predecessor. The main highlight of the smartphone is its cameras. It has triple rear cameras, 16MP 107-degree super wide-angle, 12MP standard angle and 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom (or 3.2x the zoom of the wide-angle lens). The Triple Shot feature stitches together the images captured with each of the three lenses into a short video file for easy sharing. On the front there is a 5MP wide-angle lens and 8MP standard camera for bokeh effect with an on-screen slider to adjust the amount of background blur. Airtel launches VoLTE services in Bengal and Sikkim

Bharti Airtel, today announced the launch of its Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services across Bengal and Sikkim enabling seamless services. Airtel VoLTE, which works over 4G, will enable customers to enjoy HD quality voice calls with faster call set up time. Customers can call any mobile, landline network using Airtel VoLTE as well. In addition to Bengal and Sikkim, Airtel offers VoLTE services in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Karnataka, Chennai, West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh circles. Not long ago, the company has announced that over 200 4G smartphones now support its Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services. This includes leading brands like OPPO, Vivo, Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Nokia, Panasonic, Xiaomi, Karbonn, Lava, Panasonic and more. Sadly Google Pixel series is not in the list. OnePlus CEO sheds light on OnePlus 6T’s futuristic‘Screen Unlock’ in-display fingerprint technology

OnePlus is expected to launch an upgraded version of its premium flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6 soon, dubbed the OnePlus 6T. For the past few weeks, we’ve seen more and more information about the device all over the internet in the form of leaks, speculations and some official, too. Google introduces Home Mini in Aqua Blue color ahead of Pixel 3 launch

Ahead of Google Pixel 3 launch, the search engine giant has introduced Home Mini speaker in Aqua Blue colour on its official website. This is the first new colour, Google added since the launch of Home Mini speaker. Talking about the build, It’s made from the same fabric as the Mini’s original colours—chalk, charcoal and coral. Besides colour, the remaining functionality of the device is same. The Aqua colour will start shipping on October 29 from the Google Store and Walmart. TCL sets up manufacturing unit in Tirupati, will launch Google-certified Android QLED TV and AI TVs

TCL Electronics has announced that it has partnered with the Andhra Pradesh government to set up a brand-new manufacturing facility in Tirupati. The agreement regarding the partnership was signed last week in China between the respective representatives of the State IT & Electronics department and TCL.  This move is in line with TCL’s long-term vision of building localized capabilities in order to better cater to the growing market demand for home entertainment solutions across the country. The Tirupati unit will enable TCL to contribute towards the ‘Make in India’ initiative by generating substantial employment opportunities for the country’s workforce, and will also fulfill the market demand for smart consumer electronics appliances in India. Airtel acquihires AuthMe services to strengthen AI game

In the latest development, Bharti Airtel has announced an acquihire deal with AuthMe ID Services in an attempt to strengthen Artificial Intelligence (AI) portfolio. For the uninitiated, AuthMe is a Bengaluru-based startup focused mainly on artificial intelligence solution. With this deal, the startup will be helping Airtel's Airtel X Labs initiative in Bengaluru and serve customers with innovative digital products. Airtel has set up Airtel X Labs with the aim of driving cutting-edge innovation in the areas of AI, IoT, AR and VR and is building a world-class team for the facility. The telecom services provider has also acquired flagship solutions developed including Callup AI and Fintech OCR.
