Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max user manual shows AirPower references

Apple introduced AirPower which is its multi-device wireless charger last year, but the product never went on for sale despite rumored September launch. However, a user guide included with the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max has references about the AirPower, suggesting that Apple has not yet shelved the much-anticipated charging mat.  But they definitely mention it in the new iPhone XS Max manual pic.twitter.com/qJO7kVc8bi — Gavin Stephens (@ccgavind) September 20, 2018 The user guide included with the iPhone XS and XS Max clearly shows a passage mentioning the AirPower. It reads: "Place iPhone with the screen facing up on AirPower or a Qi-certified wireless charger. You can also use the Lightning connector to charge iPhone and connect accessories." It is unclear why Apple mentioned AirPower in the manual, it perhaps suggests that the company might have had plans to ship the charging accessory alongside the new iPhones. Apple didn't mention anything at its 'Gather Around' event though rumors suggested that it might. It's been more than a year since the device was first announced. Apple wants to give users the ability to place any of their devices anywhere on the charging mat to begin a charge and the ability to charge the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods ...

Google might rename ‘Incognito mode’ on Chrome to ‘Private mode’

Incognito Mode on Google Chrome lets you browse the web without maintaining a history or saving information like cookies and form inputs. Now, Google might be planning to rename the feature to 'Private Mode' Users have started noticing that the 'Open in incognito tab' option has been changed to 'Open in private tab,' which could signal that Google is about to change it for everyone. It looks like the change might be server side as the option didn't seem to have changed for us as they still read 'incognito' for me. However, things might remain as they are like before since these kinds of tests are nothing new to Google.  The Chrome Help page already has 'private' references quite heavily, so that could be a sign of things to come. This change comes after recent change to Keep which got re-branded to 'Keep Notes.' Source

Google Drive gets new AI based ‘Priority’ page with intelligent file suggestions and organization

Google has announced that it is adding a new quick actions page in Google Drive’s left-hand navigation panel that helps you find and take action at the right time. This Priority page uses machine learning to suggest files you might need to work on and has “workspaces” to help you organize files.  Google says that the goal of Priority is to put your most important files in one place using machine learning. When you open the quick options page,  you’ll see those files, along with comments and suggested actions. You’ll be able to reply to some comments directly through the Drive interface and open full documents with one click. Google Drive's Priority page also organizes files into the workspace and lets you gather a private set of working files for ongoing easy access. Google says that users use around 10–20 files at any given time. The workspaces help make sure you can get to those files more efficiently. To build your workspace, you can use Drive's intelligent file suggestions or add files manually. You can sign up for the 'Priority' in Drive beta in case if you wish to try it out. Source
