LG Q Stylus+ with 6.2-inch FHD+ display, water-resistant body, military-level durability launched in India for Rs. 21990

LG has launched Q Stylus+ smartphone lineup as successor to last year’s  Stylus 3 in India, soon after the launch of Q7. It was introduced back in June and packs a 6.2-inch FHD+ FullVision Display, is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek SoC, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It has  military grade durability with MIL-STD 810G, is IP68-certified for water and dust resistance, has  fingerprint sensor on the back also doubles as the selfie camera shutter button. Even with the display off, the LG Q Stylus will recognize and record handwritten notes, and it can also be utilized to personalize captured images and videos to create animated GIFs. It also has Portrait mode, QLens and DTS:X 3D Surround Sound. It has a metallic body, packs a 3300mAh battery with Fast charging and it also has USB Type-C, replacing the micro USB on the Stylus 3. Xiaomi Redmi 6 series smartphones will launch exclusively on Amazon India on September 5

Xiaomi already confirmed that it will launch three new smartphones in the Redmi 6 series in India on September 5th. Now Amazon.in has confirmed that the phones will be available exclusively with them. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red Edition launched in India

Xiaomi has launched the Red color variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India, as expected. This joins the Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold variants of the smartphone that were launched in the country earlier this year. The Red version has Black finish on the front and Red finish on the back and the sides. To remind you, the smartphone  packs a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen, Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB RAM, Hybrid Dual SIM slot, 12-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel secondary camera, 20-megapixel front camera, Android 8.1 (Oreo), Fingerprint sensor, Infrared sensor and a 4000mAh battery. OnePlus 6 gets first OxygenOS Open Beta update based on Android 9.0 (Pie)

OnePlus has released the first OxygenOS Open Beta update for its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone, which is based on the latest Android 9.0 (Pie) after several developer ROMs and closed beta. It brings gesture navigation for Android P, new multi-tasking menu and more. It also brings Gaming Mode 3.0 and new Do Not Disturb mode with adjustable settings. Airtel VoLTE is now supported in over 200 4G smartphones

Airtel offers VoLTE services in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Karnataka, Chennai, West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh circles. Today the company has announced that over 200 4G smartphones now support its Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services. This includes major brands like Oppo, Vivo, Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Nokia, Panasonic, Xiaomi, Karbonn, Lava, Panasonic and more. Airtel has also been consistently ramping up its 4G capacity across the country to serve the fast growing customer demand for high-speed data. In case of non-availability of 4G network, Airtel VoLTE calls automatically fall back on 3G/2G network to ensure that customers continue to stay connected at all times. Following the launch in Mumbai, Airtel recently launched VoLTE services across rest of Maharashtra & Goa. With this option, now Airtel users can enjoy HD quality voice calls with faster call set up time compared to normal voice calls on their VoLTE-compatible 4G handsets. There will be no additional data charges for VoLTE and calls will be billed as per existing plan or packs benefits. As of now, only a few devices support the VoLTE option, and it's worth mentioning here that the handset should be upgraded with the latest software provided by your mobile maker. In order to verify the VoLTE feature on your mobile phone, head on to Settings -> Mobile Data -> Mobile Data Options -> Enable 4G -> Turn on Voice & Data -- if you are iOS user, else, go to Settings -> Settings -> Mobile Network -> Turn on VoLTE call, if you are an Android user. Twitter is testing Presence and Reply Threading features

After the controversial API changes, Twitter is all set to introduce new features for its native application. Named as 'Presence' and 'Threading', the Presence features lets users see who else is online at any given moment, while the Threading will make replies more like messaging interface.
