Xiaomi India offers a chance to own the Mi A2 before launch

Xiaomi introduced the Mi A2 smartphone as the successor of the Mi A1, at an event in Spain yesterday. Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain has already confirmed that the smartphone will be launching in the country on August 8th, but the Mi A2 Lite may not come to India. Xiaomi introduces Redmi Note 5 (Redmi Note 5 Pro) 6GB RAM, 128GB storage version in China

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India in 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.0) storage. Later it introduced the same phone as Redmi Note 5 with better specifications in China, but with the same 64GB storage. Now the company has introduced the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version of the smartphone in China. This comes after the Flame Red version of the smartphone that was introduced last month. To remind you, the Chinese version of the smartphone with the same 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen, Snapdragon 636 SoC, Hybrid Dual SIM slot, 4000mAh battery and a 12-megapixel rear camera, same as the Indian version, but this has a f/1.9 aperture camera with 1.4μm pixel size, Dual PD dual-core speed focus for fast and accurate focus, 5-megapixel secondary camera, 13-megapixel front camera, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Treble support, Dual 4G VoLTE support and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Xiaomi today introduced the Mi A2 smartphone as the successor of the Mi A1, at an event in Spain. Xiaomi alongside the Mi A2 and A2 Lite at an event in Spain has also announced the Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush that was announced last year and Robot Builder and said that they will be rolling out globally in the coming days. Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush is Xiaomi's personal healthcare product that uses ultrasonic technology. The ultrasonic technology enables vibrations of up to 31,000 per minute for powerful cleaning. It comes with DuPont StaClean high-quality bristles and has a waterproof body with IPX7 ratings. The Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush features smart personalized custom brushing modes that can be tweaked using the smartphone app. It comes with a 700mAh battery promising a battery life of up to 18 days on a single charge when used twice a day. The small charging dock that it comes can be used as a power bank. On the other hand, the Robot Builder is a robot that comes in 978 parts. It is the global version of the Mi 6X which was introduced in April, has a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, is powered by Snapdragon 660, has a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, Sony IMX486 sensor along with a 20-megapixel secondary rear camera with Sony IMX376 sensor to capture depth information for portrait shots with AI, has intelligent scent detection and has auto sensor section . Samsung trademarks AI Smart Speaker MAGBEE, could launch alongside Galaxy Note9

Looks like Samsung has bigger plans for IFA 2018 where the company will introduce the Galaxy Note 9, new Wireless charging pad, Galaxy Watch. Now it looks like the list might be getting bigger as the company has trademarked and registered AI Smart Speaker named 'MAGBEE'. Though we don't have any technical specifications on the new AI Smart Speaker, we are inclined to believe that it will support Bixby 2.0 voice assistant and Harman; which is Samsung's sub-brand will have some involvement. Moving along, the patent reveals that the speaker will have a dial and might support for multi-room audio and multiple speakers firing simultaneously. Samsung could launch the new AI Smart Speaker MAGBEE alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on August 9th and might make its way to India eventually. YouTube starts testing New Explorer tab on iOS
