Google expands Project Fi phone line-up with Moto G6, LG V35 ThinQ and G7 ThinQ

Project Fi is Google's answer to a simple and fast wireless experience with the benefits of international roaming at no extra cost. However, the topmost requested option from Fi users is more choices of Fi-friendly phones. Today Google is expanding Project Fi phone line-up with three new phones; Moto G6, LG V35 ThinQ, and LG G7 ThinQ. These phones apart from having the latest and greatest tech for their price, they are fully compatible with Project Fi. The Moto G6 is the most affordable in the segment; it sports a 5.7-inch 18:9 display and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It packs a 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. It features 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, 5MP secondary rear cameras. On the other hand, the LG V35 ThinQ which just got announced yesterday sports a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display, powered by the Snapdragon 845, 16MP dual rear cameras, and has AI features. Google’s ‘Just a Line’ AR doodling app now lets Android and iOS users collaborate

Google released Just a Line' AR doodling app back in March; this app lets you draw in the air with your phone. Today the company is further experimenting with a version for iPhone, along with a new feature for both Android and iOS that lets you draw with a friend. Meaning, the app now lets two people create doodles together at the same time across Android and iOS. To connect with friend, you have to open the app, place two phones side-by-side and tap the partner icon. Once the phones are connected, you and your partner will be able to see, and contribute to, the same drawing. Google previewed this feature at the I/O 2018 event earlier this month. Google Search Conference 2018 announced across 11 cities in India

Google today announced that it will hold Google Search Conference across 11 cities in India starting from June till August. This is aimed to help Indian language publishers make the most of the opportunity, bridge the Indian language content gap that exists on the web today and the webmasters better understand how they can make their content easily accessible to the growing number of Internet users across India. It will cover Indian languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali, in addition to English. Google Pixel series is slated to release later this year, while there is still time for the renders and live images to come out; we now hear some interesting details about the Pixel 3 flagships. LG V35 ThinQ with 6-inch QHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 845, 16MP dual rear cameras, AI features announced

LG just announced V35 ThinQ, the company's latest flagship smartphone in the 'V Series', three months after the introduction of the V30S ThinQ at the MWC. It retains the same 6-inch QHD+ OLED display, 6GB RAM, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and MIL-STD 810G certification for reliability of equipment performance in harsh environments. and 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Wireless charging. There is also V35+ ThinQ with 128GB storage. Samsung Galaxy S9+ gets Dual VoLTE, call recording support in latest OTA update in India

Samsung has rolled out an update to Galaxy S9+ smartphone in India that finally brings Dual VoLTE support for the smartphone finally. This lets you use VoLTE on both the SIMs. The changelog also mentions improvements to VoLTE and VoWiFi. Even though it is not mentioned in the changelog, the smartphone has also received support for native call recording. This lets you record all the calls automatically and store them in the internal or external storage, instead of relying on third-party apps. Snapchat ropes in Tyroo to monetise ads in India

Snapchat today announced that it has partnered with ad-technology platform Tyroo as monetization partner in India. Snapchat currently has over 191 million users globally and about nine million in India. Under this partnership,  Tyroo which is a Smile Group company who has its headquarters in Gurugram will drive ad monetization and infrastructure for Snapchat fuelling its growth in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region. Tyroo will manage sales and support for all Snapchat products in India and their revenue management. It is also forming a team of 40 members to build an ad revenue strategy for Snapchat in India and to support marketers. Snapchat will target a new segment of advertising that will be aimed at consumers consuming image or video content.
