Motorola patent hint at foldable smartphone that unfolds into a tablet

Huawei, Samsung , and now Motorola have joined foldable smartphone race according to the new patent filed and approved by the World Intellectual Property Organization on March 13, 2018, although it was filed back in September 2016. The patents hint at a foldable smartphone that unfolds into a tablet. Although the concept of it seems pretty close to ZTE's Axon M, the hinge design is the not the most elegant designs. Moving along, the main camera is positioned at the left top, and the loudspeaker is present at the right top.  It also offers space for another camera right next to the loudspeaker which is where you have the selfie shooter. Interestingly, the design of it allows you to use both the cameras at the same time and record stereo images, creating a 3D visual effect. When folded, it behaves and looks like a regular smartphone and when unfolding the user has two complete phone screens resulting in a tablet format.  The battery is located in the right housing. It also comes with a removable cover, that can be used to charge the device wirelessly. There is a cut-out for the camera and a window, so that part of the display remains visible in the folded position. Today, during Redmi Note 5 Pro sale on Flipkart, users were given a check out window like Amazon.
