Nokia 6 (2018) 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version teased in India

HMD Global announced the new Nokia 6 Android One smartphone at the MWC, which was launched in India last month for Rs. 16,999. Today the company teased a new phone with more storage is coming soon, which hints at 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version of the phone, compared to 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version. SHARP AQUOS R2 with 6-inch QHD+ 19:9 display, Snapdragon 845, dedicated ultra wide angle lens video camera announced

SHARP has announced AQUOS R2, the company's latest flagship smartphone and the successor of last year's  AQUOS R smartphone in Japan. It has a 6-inch WQHD+ IGZO LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio 100 Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 with 4GB RAM and runs Android 8.0 (Oreo). It has a 22.6-megapixel primary camera along with a 16.3-megapixel secondary rear camera with 135-degree ultra wide-angle lens to shoot videos in 4K 2K (3840 × 2,160 pixels) resolution. The AI live shutter support will take pictures automatically during movie shooting. It addition to Dolby Vision, it also has Dolby Atmos and also supports Dolby AC-4 for an immersive audio experience, making it the world's first smartphone to support both these Dolby features. Google Play Award Winners for 2018 announced – Flipkart, Khan Academy, Cricbuzz and more

Google for the past three years has been following the tradition of announcing Play Award Winners every year. Following the legacy, it announced the awards this year as well ahead of the I/O event. Google Play Awards is the best way for fresh apps to make a name for themselves. This year award includes some familiar names like Flipkart, Cricbuzz, Khan Academy. Khan Academy scored itself Best Social Impact app, Simple Habit gets Standout Well-Being App, and Flipkart (Standout Build for Billions Experience). Google Research rebranded to Google AI

Google today announced it is rebranding its 'Google Research' to Google A.I to convey how serious the company is about the artificial intelligence. This means that Google Research is no more as the company has also launched a new website alongside a renamed blog. This move from Google unifies the company's advanced research efforts at the same time pointing to the machine learning tech that underlines it. This move also happens to come after Google appointed Jeff Dean the new head of AI last month. A. Google is also renaming the existing Google Research channels, including the blog, the affiliated Twitter and Google+ channels, to Google AI. Samsung Galaxy J4 with 5.5-inch display, Exynos 7570 14nm SoC, Android 8.0 Oreo live images surface

Samsung is prepping to launch the Galaxy J4 in the J-series, and now the live images of the phone have surfaced online including the official Galaxy J4 support pages. This new series of leaks suggest that the phone is on the verge of going official.  Unlike the recent Samsung mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy J4 will have a plastic build, removable back and the battery can also be replaced. While the other J-series phones might have infinity display, the J4 will retain the regular 5.5-inches 16:9 display and will also have the physical home button at the front. As for the specifications are concerned, the J4 will be powered by the Exynos 7570 chipset. It will have a 2GB RAM and will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo with support for Bluetooth 4.2. Furthermore, the first official firmware of the J4 is already available which is another indication that the official launch is not too far away. Alcatel launched A3 10 4G Android tablet in India back in June last year with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Today it has launched the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version in the country. The cameras have also been upgraded to 8-megapixel on the back and 5-megapixel on the front. Other specifications are same, including a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 Pixels) display, quad-core MediaTek 8735B processor, Android 7.0 (Nougat) and 4G LTE connectivity via SIM and support for voice calling through headset or speaker. Xiaomi is expanding to France and Italy this month

Xiaomi entered Europe for the first time last September starting from Spain. Now it has announced that it will expand to France and Italy later this month. It will launch in France on May 22nd, 2018 and in Italy on May 24th, 2018. [HTML1] The company is selling smartphones in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil and Spain. Earlier this month it announced that in partnership with 3 (telecommunications) it will sell smartphones in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Denmark, and Sweden. The company already confirmed that it is planning to enter US smartphone market by late 2018 or early 2019. Last month Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun promised that the company's overall net profit margin will never exceed 5%, including smartphones, IoT and lifestyle products. If the margin crosses 5%, the company will find a way to return the excess above 5% to its users. At present, the company has exceeded 100 billion RMB in annual revenue and has nearly 20,000 employees.
